Thanks!

Yes, we had 3 offers within six days of listing but our first buyer had "buyer's remorse" and backed out within his first week. Luckily one of the other offers was thrilled to buy the house and we are now proceeding with all the inspections etc.

woot !

ours sold on the 18th day listed.
i sweated bullets that it would sell quickly.
congrats you have the house under contract and ready to find a new home

Thanks everyone!

We did find two towns we like in Colorado but are still unsure; waiting for info from a builder in Fort Collins about a possible site with a view of the Rockies BUT and it's a big but.....according to our realtor our current house had renovations done without permits by our contractor years ago. We had no idea!

This at best will cost us big money and at worst, the possibility of selling to any buyer!

So I guess we're on hold :worried:

Ugh. That's not good. It kind of like our new house. Everything looked so pretty on the surface but digging in all the infrastructure was damaged. We're just now starting to address the pool.

the first house we contracted for in Georgia, we hired a private home inspector.
he found $30,000 in foundation, heating/ac, etc serious issues in the house.
And a few things were repaired to the house that didn't meet code.

loan company turned us down for that loan so we started over on our search.
that was a huge headache as it was another 13.5 hour straight down to Ga to start over.
