Isn't the second floor all honeymoon rooms?
Lives4Disney, I agree, room 4301 was great. The main building is always quiet, but being in that room was especially quiet since it was at the very end of the hall -- no foot traffic from anyone except for us.
I ~think~ the GF might have put my family in room 4301 last Fall because it allowed us a bird's-eye view of our dessert party that was being held at what my Event Manager likes to call "Marina West." From my balcony, I watched them set up my party. It was fun seeing all the hustle & bustle of the GF's Convention Services staff.
When the GF put us in room 4401 this Summer, I had to chuckle. I'm sure it was just a coincidence that we were located in the room one floor directly above our last room, but then again, I wonder if it might have been ~kismet.~ Being in that room allowed me to reminiscence about my familys party last Fall (and our vow renewal, too).
I also had to chuckle when they put us in room 4401 because it made me think of Conch Key and how my family has stayed in relatively the same location for the bulk of our stays there: click here. I joked about that in my Summerhouse Trip Report: click here (see post entitled, Day 2: Grand Floridian (Part 4)). I think the Pixies have a lot of fun with assigning rooms at the Grand Floridian.
Yes, room 4201 would be located on the Honeymoon Floor. Being an old married woman, I have not stayed on that floor. But I think I just might have to bite the bullet and book a Honeymoon Room on a future trip. Of course, Id add a request for room 4201 to my reservation (and then cross my fingers that I'd get it). I think staying on the Honeymoon Floor would be fun (as long as my children stayed elsewhere, that is).
