Here is a view toward the doorway. This photo looks pretty blah b/c we had the draperies closed on that side of the room... Also, I think the room must have a few pictures/accessories yet to be installed but the overall effect was very nice. The window treatments look very attractive in person. The couch is very pretty - I like the color.

My DS would be in heaven with that view, but somehow I don't think we're all 5 gonna fit on the King bed.

Hello all and thanks for all the information. I have two questions:

First, how do I make reservations for Spa Services and how far out?

The other question is a little tougher. We were married on 10/16/93 and stayed at the Grand Floridian for part of our honeymoon. We are going back 14 years and two weeks later and was wondering what I can do for my wife for our anniversary. Does the hotel have any freebee’s? Is there a specialty room service dessert menu I can order and pay for something?

The GF is the only Disney Deluxe that has automatic turndown service for all guests. The other Deluxes have automatic for concierge guests. However, all Deluxe guests may request turndown service. Anyway, at the GF it is standard for ALL guests. Unfortunately, guests sometimes report that they do not receive it. We always have

Looking down into the Lobby on our last evening: Hearing the orchestra and pianist from inside our room while getting ready for dinner was one of my personal highlights of the trip and its why I MUST stay in the Main Bldg from now on

My mom and I AND my DD and her DH are staying there for a few days next month. I've never been, and neither has anyone else. This is a special treat from my DH and I to them. I think they're gonna really be impressed and thoroughly enjoy this little treat!

We got dessert from Citrico's to go on our last evening (warm banana chocolate torte w/ a chocolate tiara - which had to be broken down for the to go box...) You can see a few bursts of pixie dust on the bedspread - too bad i covered up Tink

Just call up the spa and make reservations. Then double-check the reservations at check-in.

Have it noted on your reservation that it is your anniversary. Then remind them at check-in and at each restaurant. You can order (and pay for) anything you'd like from the Disney florist or private dining or any other place that will deliver to the GF.
