The NEW Disney's Contemporary Resort FAQ with PICTURES! (Feb 2008)

Just wanted to say this is an awesome thread. The fiancee and I are booked for our honeymoon 18-25 May, with a Tower MK View room. We had a chance to look around when we were out for the marathon in January and are sure we made the right choice for our room.

Thanks to all y'all for contributing. Oh, and CR Resort Fan, we need to fix those graphics. They'd look so much better with some red and a nice winged wheel.

We just returned from WDW and were able to reserve 4 nights in September
using the Bouceback offer. I'm very excited as we have never stayed at
the Contemporary.

I know I've read this somewhere in the thread, but I'm too lazy right now to look..... what is the order the monorail goes through?

I know that after the MK, the next stop is the Contemporary. What order do the other hotels fall in?

Mk, Contemporary, TTA, then you change and go to Polynesian and GF and then MK...

right?

The resort monorail goes MK, Contemporary, Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), Polynesian, Grand Floridian, back to MK.

At the TTC, you can change to a monorail that goes back and forth to Epcot.

He's referring to your Maple Leafs logo. I think you're dealing with a Detroit fan. Good luck!

Hi, i just happened to glance at your ticker and i noticed on your next trip you are staying atrium club - magic kingdom view. is this now a bookable option? or is magic kingdom view still a request when staying atrium club? tia

Yes you can now make a reservation for the Magic Kingdom View on the Atrium Club Level, which went into effect for any reservations starting on Janurary 1st, 2009 or any reservations after that date.

Hi Ya'll!

Glad to be of help, last month! I did have a Pro's and Con's list of the Contempory. I went on the promotion of buy 4 nights get 3 FREE! Plus the $200.00 gift card and other small promotions going on. Total cost for 8 days, 2 adults $2,097.00! Not bad for the Atrium, Magic Kingdom view.

The pool will have "lush" landscaping??? That would be a huge plus, because it was so "STERILE" out there, it was very disappointing. Room and VIEW could not be beat though.

As far as the construction I didn't hear one thing, and I'm a lite sleeper.

I'm scheduled to stay at the Grand Floridian in May.
