Does anyone have a layout of the Garden View Deluxe room? I have seen the pictures but was curious to how it all fit together. Also where are they in the building?

What is the highest floor at the CR? A CM just quoted me a price for the 15th floor???? I thought 14th was the highest? The room was called Standard Club Room. What it that??? She was going to read to me the description and then her computer was running slow. She also had a cold so I think so forgot, and I forgot.

The highest regular floor is the 11th floor and the highest Club Level floor is the 14th floor.

So excited. First time to stay at Contemporary! I wanted to since I was a little girl riding the monorail through the hotel. We are going to be in the standard room section garden wing.

I'm trying to figure out what rooms would be better to request. So there is no north wing now, just south now?

Yes you are correct that the South Garden Wing is the only Garden Wing building still there.

I am at the Contemporary right now. I am here with my sister and my mom. We have been here since Nov10 and will be here until Nov13 when we will be changing over to the Beach Club. We will be at the Beach Club from Nov13 until Nov16. The first part of the trip we were at the Coronado Springs from Nov8th until Nov10. We got a free upgraded from a garden wing room to a Bay Lake view. The room was ready fo us when we got there at 11:00 A.M. Today we went to Ak and my cousin who is taken part in the college program came and join us. The wait times were not that bad today at all. Please fell free to ask me questions.

Notice any construction noise from the Bay Lake Tower? What floor are you on? Closer to Bay Lake Tower or the Garden Wing?

You're right, 14th floor is the highest. Standard room means it's a regular room with 2 queen beds (or a king, I think). Club Level means it's a concierge level. These rooms have the turndown service, the concierge staff that can take care of any questions or arrangements you may need, and the club level lounge where you can get lite breakfast items in the mornings, afternoon snacks, evening deserts and cordials, and drinks available around the clock. I only **dream** of staying club level. I hope that helps.

Also did you happen to ask if the Contempo Cafe is opening on November 15th because that is what others have found out.

Question re the atrium club level (12th floor)

-Does the lounge stay open all day / all night?

-More importantly, are food and drinks available continuously, or just during select hours? As I would typically be in MK or EP from late afternoon until closing, a limited window for munchies and drinks would not be worth it for me.

The lounge stays open 24 hours a day and the only time you can not inside it is after breakfast when it's being cleaned. From 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM they serve chips, cookies, beverages. From 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM it's h ot hors d'ouvres, crudites, assorted cheeses, children's items, beverages, wine and beer and from 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM it's desserts and cordials.

Yes,the snack bar will be open on Saturday at 10:00. I am staying on the 8th floor. I heard only a little bit of noise from there. The room is right by the elevator so we are right in the middle of the tower.

Back on this thread now, booked bounceback for June 1-5. Booked garden wing room, only thing available for BB unless you went to CL without much discount. Hopefully a tower room will open up. Am I correct in thinking that the pool(s) are being redone? Think they'll be completed by then?

It's been posted that the pool renovation is to finish in March, so yes they will be finished by the time you arrive.

Great, although we're a little sad that the pool is being changed, they have been swimming in that pool since they were babies!

Well I am not surprised the pool area is going to be renovated. Not that I thought anything was wrong with it however with all the renovations to the rooms, lobby and 4th floor concourse level, it's only natural that they would also renovate the pool area.
