Glad you enjoyed CSR! We do too!! You can either get adjoining rooms (connected by a door) or look into a jr. suite. The adjoining room option is cheaper.

CSR has 3 different types of suites. CSR is the only moderate resort to offer suites. This is to accommodate businessmen and conventioneers who stay at CSR for conventions.

The junior suite is basically two connecting (adjoining) rooms with one of the rooms set up as a living room. We entered through the living room, which included a desk with fax machine, murphy bed, armoir with television and sitting area.

Some have a king bed and some have double beds.

A big advantage is having the 2 bathrooms.

Prices vary depending on season. Prices are listed value, regular, peak & holiday

Jr Suite - double = $290, $335, $395, $435
Jr Suite - king = $310, $360, $425, $455
VIP Suite double - 1 bedroom suite = $580, $635, $705, $775
VIP Suite king - 1 bedroom suite = $580, $635, $705, $775
Executive Suite - 2-bedroom suite = $860, $940, $1,010, $1,140

I think all the suites are located in casita 1.

Thanks Buzz you have been a great help through this whole process.

From what I gather there are junior suites available that have two twin beds and a Murphy bed...so theoretically these can sleep six. Is that correct?

My interpretation is that you get 2 double beds in room 1 and the murphy bed in room 2. That's 2 guests in each bed for a total of 6 guests. I don't think you get twin beds as an option in the same room as the murphy bed but I could be wrong.

Sorry, I meant to say double beds but wrote twin instead....Thanks

Do buses run to/from Boardwalk from CSR - I thought I read that somewhere :confused3 or is it only DTD.

If no buses - is our best bet to a taxi back from Jellyrolls?

Thanks

Bus service from the boardwalk to CSR was discontinued a few years ago. IMHO your best bet is to take a cab from the boardwalk back to CSR. It is a very short trip. It will take forever going to DTD and then transferring all the way back to CSR.

Junior suite sleeps 6 as the murphy bed is the office and pulls down at night. Its nice to have if you have kids. The sweetest room is their executive suite. Boy did we enjoy that room when we had it.. :cool1:

Is the safe in the room large enough to hold a portable DVD player? It's really
slim. Thank-you :flower: :flower:

How slim are you talking? The safes at CSR are too small to hold a laptop. They won't even fit my digital camera. My wallet won't fit either. They are only about 2 inches or so in depth. Basically my cell phone, plane tickets and documents were the only things that fit.
Here's a pic:

I should have opened the safe so you all could see the actual size. LOL. ;)

I wrote a few times asking for that service to be replaced. I loved it. Now I use a cab and it cost me $6.00 from the Beach Club back to CSR plus tip.

Thanks Epocotfan

If it doesn't fit your laptop than I doubt it will fit the portable dvd. I guess I will have to lock it up in the luggage.

Thanks again :)

Don't despair. I could fit my whole purse, tickets and cash and I think the camera in that safe with no problems. It may fit the portable DVD.

I agree, I think it would fit a portable DVD player up to 10" screen. My 7.5" one would easily fit.

We've stayed at the Coronado twice and we loved it! :wizard:
Last time we went we stayed at the CBR (stayed there twice too), and I realized how much we really enjoyed the Coronado's food court.

Does anyone know if they do preferred buildings at the Coronado like CBR?
