I can tell you that we stayed at Ranchos 6B in 2005 and it took me 18 minutes round trip for DW coffee every morning.
I look at it this way...any building in CSR is closer than my house in PA!

We have never had a problem with walking either, and enjoyed staying at Ranchos 7B. It had a quiet pool, very short walk to main pool, bus stop right out front, and in a quieter area away from many conventioners (which we never had a problem with anyway). Also if you go up to the third floor after leaving the bus stop, when illuminations is going on at Epcot, you can catch a small glimpse of the fireworks over the trees, my kids had a kick out of seeing some fireworks from the hotel. Have a great trip!!!

We stayed in Casitas 3d last year (in front of lion fountain) and didn't mind the walks as the resort is very beautiful. It took us about 3 mins to get to El Centro and a little further to the main pool but we would refill our mugs before heading to the main pool. We tended to use bus stop 1 at El Centro more due to mug refills or eating at Pepper Market though bus stop 2 was closer to our room. The walking didn't bother us as we decided to stay at CSR again this year.
I was doing some math. It would be only about 285 dollars cheaper to stay in 2 rooms that book a junior suite. I think I can splurge for that money plus like the idea of having my mom in the same place as I. So what buildings are the suites located in- I thought I read somewhere they are in the Casistas section, that would be just great.
Lustergirl-If I were you I'd go for the adjoining rooms. The Jr suites aren't all that impressive. You get two rooms, but the living room has a small desk, tv two rattan chairs, and a bath. I think the thing on the wall is a murphy bed, but it has to stay up to have room for the chairs. These rooms give you two full baths, two sinks, but one frig, two tv's, two desks-all totaled.
Please note: These rooms aren't remotely on par with an Embassy suites, or Homewood suites as a couple of examples.
They are a nice perk for conventioneers, but that's about all.
With the adjoining rooms you'd have two REAL beds, two tv's , two small frig, two sinks, two full baths.
But adjoining is not guaranteed. That's the only downside.Lustergirl-If I were you I'd go for the adjoining rooms. The Jr suites aren't all that impressive. Lily:
Thanks for the reply. When I make my reservation can both rooms be in my name or does the other room have to be in someone else's name?? I don't think I can my ressie on the disney website either correct?? I am thinking I would have to call to make my reservation correct??
If they can guarantee adjoining because of the ages of your kids, I would go with that because it gives you more options for room locations and it will save you a few bucks. But if they say they can not, you could end up with non-adjoining rooms, you and a few kids in one room and your DH and another kid in another. Not sure of the ages of your kids, that may help your case for the guarantee.so Buzz- what do you suggest. I tried quoting the AS Music suites for next september but my dates or around that keep coming up unavailable as I imagine these suites go fast. The junior suites at CSR are still less expensive than any of the deluxes for a family of 5 though..
