Lovely new pics Buzz - brought back happy memories! (Though where's the rain? )

The lake at CSR is small? I always thought of it as a good size lake. Well, for a resort anyway.

I've been checking out your site Buzz and recommending it to people who are interested in CSR! When did they add the CSR shuttle - that is GREAT! For my upcoming trip I am staying at *gulp* POFQ. I wanted to try something new but I am starting to doubt my decision. I think I'll like POFQ overall, but it won't compare to CSR in many ways.

My DD and I are in the reflection

Just wanted to say thanks Buzz for keeping us up to date on CSR :flower:
I have stayed here twice and it is my favorite moderate. My last two trips I had booked CSR but when the AP discounts came out I couldn't get it for here so I changed resorts. This trip I decided I was staying at CSR no matter what....and guess what? I finally got the AP rate :goodvibes I'm at POFQ May9-16 then CSR May16-23. I can hardly wait :cool1: I visited CSR my last two trips even though I wasn't staying there. I find it very peaceful and beautiful.

AP is short for annual pass. Annual passholders are eligible for an AP rate for their resort if one is available. Visit mousesavers.com

Well I'm calling my TA tomorrow and hoping to change to CSR. The funny thing is that we origingally started out w/ CSR and changed our package to go Deluxe WL and Poly but wanted dining so went back w/ moderate. I am really excited, I don't know why I ended up booking Por instead of CSR because now I'm beginning to see the wonderful things that made me go w/ this great resort to begin with.
Thanks, to Buzz and Epcotfan, wonderful websites and Buzz thanks for answering alot of questions on my moderate poll thread.

I've been converted and haven't even stayed there yet! :goodvibes The resort is soooo beautiful and has a tropical feel to it and the Dig Site and the lobby I could go on and on. Cross your fingers that we will get in.

My fingers are crossed for you! I booked POFQ for my May trip (which is in 2 days!) I am starting to regret the choice, but I am looking forward to the experience of a different resort. We own DVC now and so SSR is truly our home, but CSR holds a specail place in our hearts. We still go to the Pepper Market to eat and I like the gift shop!

After checking out your website Buzz I changed my reservation this morning from POR - asked for 9b. we'll see what happens! Any one else going last week of September? Will be there Sep 28th till Oct 3. When I changed reservations this morning only standard rooms available. I called back at 2:30 pm was able to get room with full lake view for 119.00 per night! (AAA rate)

Well I made it through the thread and I have definately been converted. Was always put off before because of the size of CSR but I think it will be totally manageable now I have requested Cabanas 9B waterview for next oct. Thankyou so much for a great thread and hopefully, will see some of you there.

I wish I was going back soon. Have a great trip!

Hi this site is so fab it's just what i need to help me. My family are going to Coronado Springs on the 1st July and are getting really excited my questions have probably been answered already but : are there fridges in all the rooms now. How difficult is it to get around ouside Disney? Can anyone recommend a good taxi company? Is there a walmart nearby? As we are flying from Cyprus will we have to bring beach towels ? we were hoping to travel light and fill our cases with all the goodies from the shopping malls. And finally will it be very hot ? Thanks

It will be hot, but then, you're from Cyprus, and I always thought it was hot there! It tends to be hot and humid to me, but I'm from way upstate New York, and it hardly gets into the nineties where we live.

I usually bring beach towels for the water parks, but I don't usually bring them to the pool because there are always plenty of towels.

I believe there are fridges in all of the rooms. I've had a fridge the last two times I've gone.

I usually rent a car and drive around, so I'm not sure about a good taxi company.

Have a nice trip!

Yes, see pics on my website below.

You can use Mears, a taxi, or rent a car for the day. One of the rental companies has a rental office on WDW property. We used them in 2003.

Taxi's are available out by the lobby.

Wal-Mart Supercenter Store #5420
3250 Vineland Road
Kissimmee, FL 34746

Towels are available at the main pool but not at the quiet pools. Use your room towels for the quiet pools.

We were there last June and it was hot. The cement was hot aroun the pool so bring sandals or water shoes.

Hi Y'all! It looks like we'll have to *tack on* 3 days at the end of our trip in June! DH's company is part of a convention and asked him to stay and *work* ;) so when we have to leave YC  we'll be heading over to CSR :teeth: WOO HOO!!!

I just wanted to say "Thanks!" for this FAQ - really great info. Love your website Buzz2001 :wave2:

Edit: I see my daughter has been on here! Sorry, I'm actually "RachelTori"!
