This is in reply to the coffee questions.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but my husband is. We just brought our own Dunkin' Donuts coffee and filters from home, and used the coffee maker in the room. That way he could have his "caffeine fix" soon after waking up. :thumbsup2

I'll let you know for sure in 22 more days!!
Have a great time Buzz! Hubby and I have definately decided that CSR is going to be the place for our Anniversary trip.
I still can't get into your site for some weird reason  I must have clicked on your link a gazillion times!

Have you tried different browser? May Firefox would work.

Buzz:
I just want to say THANK-YOU for taking all the time you have on your website. Last week I just booked CSR for my 11-year old son and myself. I wanted to stay at a moderate REALLY BAD as last time we went in 2006 we stay at POP and even though it was nice, I knew there had to be more!!! So, when the AAA travel agent told me that CB's main pool was closed, she said the best place for my son would be CSR. But, then I went on other boards that I had read over while planning my last trip and there were lots of bad/negative reviews for CSR and I was not happy. But, after finding your thread on DISboards and also reading over your website, I AM SO EXCITED TO BE STAYING AT CSR.

I hope you have a fab trip and I expect lots of details about your stay before my trip in April 2008.

Thanks again,
:dance3:

Oh my, I was just reading backwards on this thread and found were somewhat thought the Dig Site will be closed in early 2008.. does anyone know anything more about this?

Yes I tried Firefox as well. I keep getting an error message. I've never had this happen before with any site so it's frustrating because I really want to see what you have over there! Oh well, I'll just be patient and wait for your trip report when you get back. :cool1:

I saw this on another thread.

My travel agent at Small World Vacations said "the pool at CSR is not and will not be going under any refurbishment" and she confirmed it with Disney this morning. She asked me if I got CSR's pool mixed up with CBR's as it (CBR) will be under construction until the fall. Hope that helps - it helps me feel better, that's for sure!

and this...

Just to give a little update, my travel agent at Small World Vacations called Disney again and was told the same thing - the Dig Site is not closed and it is not scheduled to be closed. She said that it's common to get a different answer several times when you call Disney, but so far she's heard two definite "no" answers on the Dig Site closing. She said she'd let me know if she hears anything else so I'll keep everyone posted here, too.

When I first came across that it made me a little nervous. But, after many calls to Disney and many searches on the net the answer I get is no.

After all is said and done only Disney knows the answer to this. But, in my opinion with CBR's main pool being closed for most of 2008 I wouldn't worry to much. I don't see Disney having 2 moderate pools closed at the same time. Heres to hoping I am right.

Thanks for your answers to my pool closing question! I appreciate it! I am sure I will come up with more questions between now and April! Thanks again! :cool1:

I can't open up Buzz's site on my Dell computer, however with the kid's MacBooks I have no problem. Not sure why?:confused3

We will be going to CSR in Dec. of this year. I am waiting to make reservations once I hear back from AAA. This is our first moderate!!!:cool1:

We are going to request a cabana room based on what I have read here.

Is there really a charge for having groceries delivered? Last time we used gardengraocer.com because even though we do the dining plan we aren't big breakfast eaters so I get some snack stuff delivered.

We had garden grocer deliver Dec 2006 and wegoshop deliver Dec 2007 and there was no additional service charge (we did tip bell services and the grocery provider). I had read here on the DIS that there was a charge added to your room at checkout, but that was not my experience.

Enjoy your trip.:goodvibes

YAY for chosing CSR... I Can't wait to go....

somewhere, but I cannot seem to find it. How do you override the thermostat in the room? We are going in March and my husband is always hot so he wants a cold room to go back to. Thanks.

On the thermostat, push the power button and the down arrow (button that adjusts the temp) at the exact same time. If you do this correctly, you will see the letters "bp" where the temp normally shows. You are now bypassing the sensors in the room. You can then set the temp to whatever you want and it keeps the room that cold whether you are in it or not. The maintenance man said that you might have to do this once a day as the thermostat tends to go back to sensor mode after 24 hours. We found that it stayed on bypass for a couple of days at a time. It was great to come back to a cold room or not wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat again. The CM that did this for us said it was not a problem doing this as they do it for people all the time.
