I don't know about hot chocolate, but you can get iced coffee at Siesta's! Last time a great CM made a fresh pot of coffee for me every afternoon (temps that week were in the 90's, and they weren't selling much coffee). He filled my refillable mug with ice, and then poured coffee over it. A great summer treat, and it satisfied my caffiene need as well!![]()
I think it is 7:00am to 11:00pm. Not sure of the hours for the new Rix Cafe. What are the Pepper Markets hours?
Not sure about the sizes anymore but you can get coffee, tea, iced tea and soda. I guess you can make iced coffee since you can have coffee.Hi
can you get hot chocolate for your refillabe mug.
also are they still doing the two sizes of mugs???
thanks
worthy
bean, you know that CSR now has the Rix Cafe so you can get you meals there and eat outside. Maybe you won't have to endure the PM afterall.Well, we're BACK!!!
I was determined not to stay at CSR again because of our bad experiences with our dietary restrictions and Pepper Market
BUT we loved the grounds, loved the pool, loved the shop, loved the transport, and loved the price...so we are sucking it up to prepare for the dreaded Pepper Market as minimally as possible. I know we will love our stay there! Even with our bad treatment at PM last time, we still had a great time and we loved the resort all in all!
This time I'll bring my own breakfast food and book ADR at parks for breakfast as well. We'll be better prepared (because of our food restrictions)
We'll be doing another grand gathering over the holidays again, so I'll just re-subscribe here so that I can keep up to date on any changes![]()
Yes, it's already on the DDP. The PM has many differnt stations with lots fo choices. Check out the menu on allearsnet.com. The grill station offers ribeye and prime rib on certain nights. That looks good. Quick and easy too. Is it on the DDP? What does PM have to offer Buzz?
What's it like down there in May? May is a great time. Not too hot or humid. Go in early May.
Which is the best place to stay the Casitas or the Cabanas? We don't want to stay in the Ranchos because of the long walk to the main building. see below
I know check in is at 3, but are they pretty good about letting early check in. We probably won't get there until around 1pm. A few times my room has been ready early. It might work for you in May.
How clean are the rooms? Rooms not being clean seems to be a mentioned several times. nine trips and never a problem with anything in the room or cm's.
Depending on what you want to be close to, here are some good building choices.
Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge (most convenient location and most preferred).
Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building (closest to the pool).
Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool (and is the old smoking optional building).
Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.
Casita 1 is attached to the main building and is very close to the restaurants.
Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.
Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop #2.
Make your room request as soon as you make your reservation. Its never too early.
I think we are going to try for Cabana 9B and then if we can't get that Casita 3. Casita 3 seems to have some great views of the courtyard and since we opted for a king bed we don't get a water view.
