Sorry, I just contain my excitment anymore! We leave for CSR in 80 days!!!

I have stayed at most of the WDW resorts and I am SO looking forward to this trip. I just put in a request for either the Casitas or Ranchos.

Anyone know if the on-site bakery does birthday cakes? I would like to have one waiting in the room on my DHs birthday when we get back from the parks. When it gets closer, I will call the cake hotline - but I wanted to see if anyone has ordered one before.

Buzz - I'm going back to CSR next week with my husband and kids for the Children with Diabetes annual convention (Friends for Life) - my youngest is type 1.

I just wanted to let you know that I printed up some "I love BUZZ2001" t-shirts so that this time the little golf cart thingee will stop for me to give me a ride. I'd do a "girls gone wild" impression when I see the cart coming but I'm sure that would just send the driver off into the lake - or blind him or something.

I'm just teasin' ya! Send me some of your cart karma though!

I've been nine times and it never gets old. I love CSR like a second home. I love everything about CSR but especially the theme. My only wish would be for queen beds.

I would like to attend this sometime, but the summer time always throws me for a loop. I think it would be very informative. Have you been to it before?

We are going the same time as you and are waiting for a king to open up as well. I'm thinking it will happen in early Aug when whatever convention is there releases the room block. Hopefully there will be kings left!!

You and I are in the same boat! We leave in 87 days and it will be our first trip staying at CSR

I am floating on air thinking about it. We have stayed at all the moderates and a few deluxes so the CSR will be a brand new experience. After everything I have been reading and hearing from others who have stayed there, I am sure we will not be disappointed.

Today I found a 3 caballeros women's tshirt at Disney Store. It was only $5! I snagged it in my size, and I plan on having my picture taken, wearing my themed shirt next to these beauties:

My girls were asking if we could go to Mexico today. I am thinking that I can fool them into thinking the CSR is Mexico (they are young, I think I can pull it off!)

It's funny that you should say this....I surprised DH w/a trip to Disney (staying at CSR) & I gave him "hints" as to where we were going & I wanted him to think we were going to Mexico & he really thought we were! He was most excited to find out we were going to Disney instead though!!

I am planning my first moderate stay in September for the free dining. September 1-12. We are so excited and I have always wanted to give this resort a try!

I know it's not listed on Buzz's list but my family will be there for convention with New York Life Insurance Company from Aug 26 - Sept 1

1st trip) and I'm a little nervous. I know that all rooms now have fridges but can you request or rent a microwave for the room? What about a toaster for quick morning breakfast. My daughter is an early bird (6:00 am and eats at 6:30 - before most things open.

What about renting a crib from an outside source? Anybody had any great sucess with this and is there enough room to put a crib? The other question is on one of the pixs on Buzz site I noticed that there is something that looked like a curtain you could pull to close off the bathroom area? Is this still in every room?

The walk up window at the PM opens at 6:30pm. The microwaves at CSR are on a first come, first serve basis. Toasters are available at the PM. One trip we brought our own. I picked up a cheap one at Walmart.

Question: If we take our food "to go" at Pepper Market, are there tables somewhere nearby where we can sit and eat? I am thinking that I don't want to pay the extra 10% to sit down and eat so we will take our breakfast to go but if we have a room that is not so close, I don't want to carry all that food back.

Yes, there are many tables out on the patio overlooking the lake.
