this will be our first stay at csr June 15-23, 2007.
THere are 4 of us going, but we will be getting two rooms(dd17 needs two bathrooms).

One concern is dh does not like the fact of the 10% grat at PM. Some have suggested carry out, but then that means going back to the room to eat(waste of time in my opinion), is there anywhere to eat outside the PM? Some one suggested getting a roll and having eggs added to it. Would you still be charged the 10% for something like that?

Yes, you can eat on the patio outside the Pepper Market by the lake.

Does anyone know if the cabana 9a have great veiws?:cloud9:
Visit my website below and then scroll down to the cabana pictures. There are a few of the views from cabana 9b, front and back.

This is a photo of the back side of cabana 9b. There is also a small lake back there.

Hi Everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has rented the individual speed boats from the CSR marina? I was wondering how fast they go? Also is there anywhere on Disney property to do water tubing?
I've read that they don't go as fast as ones at the bigger marinas but are fun. My DD had a great time.

Buzz: I seem to remember the Main pool having a small area that was zero depth entry. Am I right? I'm trying to make reservations for a trip next month with my Mom. She needs that but I don't want to pay for a deluxe.

They do not have zero entry but there are stairs that she can use to walk into the pool in the corner by the lifeguard station and all along the front of the temple.

Wow, this thread is great. I have spent the last 2 days reading the past 50+ threads. Thank you all for your info.

DH and I will be going in July (have not decided if we will be taking the kids 2 and 4). DH will be in conference all day and I am not quite ready to handle both kids in crowds by myself.

I still have a few questions for you experts...

Does anyone have pictures of the pool deck area? Are there quite a bit of room for sunning or is it more for swimming?

Quite pools- does this mean no kids or just no activities like I expect at the Dig Site?

Refillable Mug- does this include juice, or only soda

Is there a height requirement for the waterslide?
MY DD6 can't wait to try it. She is 49"....will she be permitted to slide?

The only requirement is they must go solo. You can wait at the bottom and catch them as they enter the pool. She can go with a life jacket on too.

do they allow pushing beds together and using an air mattress? my dh is 6' 2" and 2 year old is quite tall, 7 and 9 yo can sleep on the air mattress and the three of us on the doubles put together....would housekeeping have a fit?

The beds are not secured to the floor so I guess you can push them together. There is a small nightstand between the beds.

We squeezed our roll-a-away in there by moving one of the beds.

Thank you Buzz....does Disney realize how much business your unofficial site probably brings to the CSR? It is the sole reason we are considering it over the Shades of Green. The pool is usually listed as #1 in my boys' review of their stay and the landscaping / decor is usually my top review (DH just wants the least stressful option). My biggest concern is the room size with a family of 5. We would go with a suite if it was affordable. With DD still being eligible to be a fifth....why not go for it while we can (that is before we have to have 2 rooms, a suite or the POR with the "trundle bed of death".....these are my neighbors words...no offense to POR fans). Anyway....thanks again. Naomi
