I posted this on another thread abt CRS.....realized...come here! Well......I attempted to book room only at CRS..you can do this with 499 days out from res with current rates...yada yada yada...just to get it on the books. CRO tells me there is NO availability from June 25 to July2 :{ Yikes...has this happened to anyone before? Do they wait awhile before they release rooms....thinking some big convention may come in?? She said to call again, things may change.

Luckily, its along time from now...I cant imagine the ENTIRE resort booked????

Any thoughts Mario and fellow CSR friends???? Thank you for any input

They may only have very limited rooms available to book this early. That's the only thing I can think of. I'm SURE it's not full in reality, just in the computer world.

Just wanted to thank Mario for all his hard work.

DH wanted to know about CSR so I showed him this thread and your site. The first thing he saw was the 64ounce mug and his eyes lit up like a little boys! lol

I had a question, but I can't remember now (I read the whole thread and it wasn't answered, I'll get back to you).

Nine times.

I've gathered a lot of info and pics over the years but I've also had a lot of help from others gathering all this CSR info and photos. The most help came from an ex CSR CM who is a DIS'er and gave me tons of CSR info. Thanks George!! Another is Don who gave me a ton of awesome pics. Thanks Don!!

Convention resorts will hold blocks of rooms for it convention goers but they will be released to the public once it gets closer to the date agreed upon. I would definitely keep trying back. 499 days is a long way off.

All the building are non smoking with one exception, cabana 9a is a smoking optional building.

Ya, We are staying at CSR DH DS and Me. AAA saved us over $225.00. 8 nights with dinning and 5 day with hopper $2987.00. I got my airfare with Southwest on my own $351 for 3 people. I am so excited. AAA agent said that a lot of people are requesting CSR.

I hadn't realized that the king rooms were accessible rooms. DH and I are going in April and I booked a king room. I am hoping that that doesn't detract from the overall feeling of the room. Does anyone know first hand if those rooms are nice etc. I really want the trip to be special.

I've booked my trip through a TA and she made my requests to Disney on my behalf. I asked for non-smoking (the easy request), a choice of 3 specific buildings and a king. I was offered the option of paying more to hold a king but we've decided just to go with the request and hope

Ooo, ooo - I lurk here so I don't miss anything critical to my May CSR trip, but I can actually answer this one!

The resorts supply the closed, pre-filled filters, but the basket is the regular, 4 cup kind. Meaning, feel free to bring your own 4 cup filters and decent coffee! Actually, I HIGHLY recommend doing just that if you value the flavor of your coffee at all.
