Coronado Springs Fax - 407-939-1001

No requests should be sent until 4 days prior to actual check-in. The resorts do not get to download the reservations from the DRC computers until 10 days before your arrival and the room assigners generally block your rooms 3 days before. If you fax a request to a resort before they have the reservation in their computers and are ready to assign it, they will file it in a special "pass" folder. That folder should be checked daily to pull out faxes that came in early but there is always the chance yours could be missed. The best way to avoid getting in the Pass folder is to not send in your request until 4 days before.

Figure your 4 days prior to arrival this way:

Thursday - Arrival day/check-in
Wednesday - 1 day prior
Tuesday - 2 days prior
Monday - 3 days prior
Sunday - 4 days prior

Faxing after 4 pm is usually best only because the morning Room Assigner is usually bogged down with checkouts and the evening Room Assigner is usually dealing with check-ins until 4 pm. Honestly though, if you are faxing it doesn't matter when you send it. If they are busy they will file it and the evening Room Assigner will get to it when they start blocking requests.

Greetings from Texas!

Our first magical Disney vacation is finally (almost!) here and I wanted to see if you could possibly accommodate our room requests for Sept. 20-29. We have a courtyard view, need a nonsmoking room, would like to be on the fifth floor, and would love it if we could see the fireworks from the balcony. Our little Mouseketeers are 5 and 7, so they would really like a room with the bunk beds, too! Thank you in advance for any help you can give us in making our first visit wonderful!

Thanks Buzz, I am going to have my AAA travel agent call down and give my room request and then I will follow these instructions and fax down to CSR myself 4 days before my trip!

9 more weeks and 5 DAYS!!!!! :cool2: :rotfl: :cool2:

This week is crawling by for me..I can imagine how slowly it is creeping along for our dear Buzz! :coffee: I'm almost as anxious to see you get there as you are! LOL

Our AAA agent requested Cabanas 9B on our reservation. Should I still send a fax four days prior?TIA

(Sorry PP, I do not know the answer to your rental car question):confused3

There are different thoughts on faxing here on the DIS but it's up to you. It can't hurt.

Hi all!
New to this thread....

DH and I are planning a trip to WDW in November, and looking at all the Moderate resorts. I have never been to CSR, but have seen it from the ME bus window (both DH and I said "ooooh" at the same time! lol) and have read GREAT things about it.

With that said, I have a question that has probably been asked a trillion times and is common knowledge, but this is only my 2nd trip the World and I'm still a bit green...

We will be on the DDP, can you use it at the Pepper Market? Chances are we'll eat there just once, or maybe for a snack, but just wonderin'...

Buzz, your website is great! I'm loving all the pictures and info! If I had more time I would read this entire thread, sounds like it's full of CSR fans and good info!

Also, another question that is probably a yawner...;)

How is the bus service? Do you share a bus with another resort(s)? I cannot recall where CSR is on the property, is it in walking distance to some parks?

I read somewhere the CSR has the "best Mexican food on property" and that instantly SOLD DH. lol

You don't share a bus with other resorts but it does make 4 or 5 stops as it circles CSR. That said, we were quite pleased with the buses as they came at regularly and we always got a seat. Not sure about walking it though I think someone said you could walk Blizzard Beach. Personally, it's a pretty big resort and I wasn't too compelled to walk extra. :)

Food was very good in Pepper Market.

GREAT! Thank you! We stayed at AKL last time and there too you don't have to share a bus. Not that it would be a deal-breaker, but just good to know.

Pepper Market sounds really neat! Can you use your DDP in Pepper Market? I can't wait to eat at WDW, I dream of some of the food we had there!!!

Yes, we used DDP for counter service and snacks (large muffins for breakfast) in Pepper Market.

It's going slow but next week better go just as slow. :woohoo:

Buzz, just wondering when your count down ends? Are you leaving Friday or Sat for the sunny state!!!!! We are in the middle of ANOTHER snow storm here in Maine!!!!!!! :beach:

Just been uploading some pics from our Nov/Dec trip to WDW and remembered that I took some photos of the Rix Lounge just as it was about to open. Don't know if anyone's posted similar photos, but here are mine:

I can't wait for May. We live in IL and I'm so sick of the snow. We've had so much snow this year. If you look outside our air conditioner unit is covered by snow. You would not even know it's there.

We leave in 29 days..they have just issued a winter storm watch (again) for us in SE Minnesota. Winter is getting way too long for us. Those 80 degree days are looking better every day.
