Yes - that's just evil. Have you got somewhere else you could go for the same dates? You could tell her you're going there, then create a Ticker for that. How about "booking" a break down here in Portsmouth. That way, you don't even need to tell her where you're going until you've almost reached Ashford and you turn off of the Portsmouth route.

Thats one way. Im not sure about Portsmouth tho as she likes it there so would be planning about going to see the Victory and to the DD museum etc.
I dont think she'd click til we got to Eurotunnel.

We might tell her before we go anyhow but only tell her where we are staying when we get there
