I like the idea of a Quaker wedding - it's the epitome of simplicity. Unfortunately, finding a GF who also likes the idea is quite tricky - Quakerism is quite a small religion

Sounds nice to me!!

Robert's mother hates the fact I don't want a wedding dress and she keeps trying to make me want one.... She also keeps trying to convince me to do everything her way (Boring, tacky and horrible)..... His Dad can't stand the low-alcohol aspect, and a no alcohol bar. My mother hates the fact we won't get married in her church......... The list is endless.....

Space Mountain's quite rough. Rock 'n' Rollercoaster is smoother, but the launch is sharper and a little bit more of a shock if you've never been on it before.

Indy's not too bad - still a bit rough though.

I was terrified of coasters when we first went in 2002, so would only go on BTM. I decided I wanted to rid myself of my fear, so tried Indy - didn't mind it, but still very wary of coasters. I then tried Space Mountain and I was sold for life - I haven't looked back since

I'll have to think about this one - dont like the look of Indy, dont think I could take SM, definitely couldnt do Crush- too spinny at the same time so that leave RRC.

maybe I'll stick to getting my thrills on TOT if I can persuade DD to go on it again. I braved it at Easter and loved it altho I thought Id hate it but DD wouldnt go on again in July so one of us had to stay with her and I didnt want to do it alone so didnt do it.

I lived with a girl from uni who went to Quaker boarding school- I think its in Surrey?

Thats the reason I want a wedding is the big white dress!!

Oh Lord no!! I hate wedding dresses. Even when I was little I never wanted a 'wedding' dress............. If people want them, thats fine, but I don't. Can't stand them.....

I can't wait to book my Candy Anthony fitting!!! Thats assuming I save up enough cash!!

I'd loove a no alchohol wedding!! And would do it if we had to have a big wedding with all our wierd drunken families coming.

Hence I want max 25 guests!

If DH and I were to get married now as opposed to 10 years ago I would do things different. We got married at the church I attended growing up where my parents, grandparents, aunt etc got married and where I was christened. We had the big wedding with the big dress. I loved my day, but it was what was expected. If I was to do it again I'd get married in WDW and just take my closest friends who we go to WDW with and our parents.

Berkshire maybe? There's Leighton Park which is basically in Reading. Not sure about one in Surrey though - there aren't many in the country.

We're been together 7yrs... we've talked about it like you do but it'll happen when it does.. we're happy for the moment... our my focus atm is getting our own place

Aww thanks! Well we have the house now ... although we still need to do loads of decorating! I'm not in a rush, although I'm worried I'm turning into a secret bridzella and he hasnt even proposed yet!

We didn't have a no alcohol wedding but I don't think I had a drink all day, I was too busy!! My reception was hillarious, DH and I being music students our friends made up a band for the reception. The best man was on the drums, DH played bass, the ushers were on vocals, guitars and keys and myself and the bridesmaid did backing vocals!! There were 2 other wedding receptions in the same venue and the guests from them came to see our band!! The other brides were not amused!

We're mainly doing it because Robert's family get seriously drunk at everything and I don't want them spoiling it. They can complain as much as they like, but its one day, and they can always head to the pub afterwards.

You see, thats the problem. Robert's Dad is one of nine kids, and his Mam is one of four, so he's got a big family. We aren't inviting his cousins though. I have a family totalling about 11 people, so my side has had to be made up with friends. The total guest list is 53- And it's difficult because loads of people I know keep assuming they're coming when they aren't!!! And my mates keep trying to make me have a huge do, but we don't want it!!!!

I did see Robbie Williams on my wedding day though. It was the weekend of the V festival in Leeds and he was staying at the same hotel I had my reception at. He said congratulations to us!!

I played weddings most days. White dress, veil, the lot!! LOOOVE it!!!
