Personally I'd have a back up plan, but I guess 10 days is quite a long time really. I'd really be thinking of a backup if they are non the wiser with 5 days left though

This is just so frastrating, if they start a reduced service they can't reduce the Direct Disney train can they? I mean they only have 1 service to Disney a day!

I'd personally think that they would run reduced Eurotunnel services rather than reduced Eurostar services.

I think that the Direct Disney train would be the one to survive any reductions in service as they do only run the one a day, however I think that transfering you onto a Paris one and then changing for connections would be a big possibility too.

All this hassle for a tunnel that take about 35mins to travel through! I'm not panicing yet, they just said on the news that once the French authorties have given the all clear it wouldnt take long to get trains etc running through the other tunnel.

Let's hope that's soon. Must be terrible not knowing what's happening, especially if you are travelling soon

I just heard that they hope to open the south tunnel by tonight... so i dont think your need to worry.

The guy on sky news just said that the 2nd tunnel may not open for a few days if it hasn't been damaged.

We go by eurostar... I sure it'll be fine by then tho...not sure what we'd do if not...

Cool, that's how I wanted to go but would have made it more expensive considering we are staying off-site we would have had to get a taxi to the train station and then a train every morning and then again in the evening.

So you should be there about 1.30pm then? That's the time I'll be getting into Dunkerque!

I'd still rather go by Eurostar and if we were staying onsite then we would have done. Are you staying in the HNY?

That's where I'm planning to park once we have our AP's

Oh yeah its alot easiler.. but we fancy maybe staying at DCR maybe one time....Prob when we have children and cant afford to stay in hotels :rotfl:

Yeah staying HNY... cant wait, I hope not as bad as ppl are saying..

Should find out later if the other tunnel is ok to use, the people are in looking at what damage has been done.

:lmao: That's why we are staying off site! Our next trip we will possibly look at DCR if we drive and the Cheyenne if we go by Eurostar.

I thought it looked like a nice hotel for those without children, looks like it brings a bit more sophistication to DLRP when compared to SF or Cheyenne.

Yeah maybe... i love the design of it, so i think we'll like it there... I loved Cheyenne but SL is my fav so far...

My fav hotel out of them all is the DCR. It's really nice to be in the magic but away from the Magic if that makes sence!

Shame they stopped the free bus service as you can only drive there now. It has the best swimming pool out of every hotel in DLRP there too.
