The New CBR Pool

Hey...we are at CBR now and I don't know if this has already been posted but they have left in our room a picture of the pool that will be opening here.
It's going to be a pirate ship (kind of reminds me of the pool at yacht club) and it will have a big bucket of tipping water and a tunnel slide and 2 regular slides.
It looks fabulous and I can't wait to come back when it's done.
I have to say the main pool closure is really not nice and does affect the stay even though we love it here.

Wow! I'd love to see a pic of your room flyer regarding the pool. How great!

I'm sure the pool closure is a big deal--we love the CBR and I can't imagine having all that boarded up. But, I'm looking forward to the finished pool!

That is great news. I am going in May and i'll be staying at CSR but i would have stayed in CBR again but the pool closure made us choose a diff resort. Next time we go i will definetly go to CBR. I love that resort.

CBR does not share buses with other resorts. I haven't heard about any room rehab - they did a major rehab in 2002

Yes...I will definitely take this flyer with me when I go home on Tuesday. I will scan it and see if I can figure out how to put it on here. I haven't posted any photos before but I will give it a go. I was very happy to see this because it is really different here without the main pool.....even though it is freezing here today!!!! It rained last night from dinner almost all night and today it is very cold.....in fact one of the employees at the monorail today had a fuzzy floppy eared hat on with a parka and mitts!! very funny.
I had on a lined track suit and was freezing all day. No one was in the pool today.
anyhow check back tuesday night I should have the photo up that night after the kids get to bed I will put it on.....It is just a drawing but it shows the structure!!!! very cool
Next january ....back to cbr for us.

Thank you so much for the update! Our next trip is booked for CBR largely because of what we heard about the new pool. What you described fits with what we were told. The pool, and in particular the slide, is a huge deal to my kids. We picked CBR on that basis. Can't wait to see the pics!

O.k I am home but the picture has to wait until tomorrow as we are in a snow blast and I have to shovel tonight and am exhausted.....For sure I will post it Wednesday.

mollyseven - help with your thoughts - I have a question to your opinion to the "pool closure is not nice and does affect the stay". Can you explain - please. We always stay at CBR and are again staying this June. We really don't care about the main pool and usually use the quiet pools, my concern is that we are taking people along this time and really want to show them a nice time. Is this going to be an eye sore. I am having mixed emotions - thinking of switching to PO - Riverside. We have stayed there in the past but really think it is ok! Your thoughts again - thanks!

I really wanted to stay at CBR for our trip next month, as we stayed there last year and loved it. However, once I read about the pool rehab, I had to go with CSR.
