Excited to see Melissa Gilbert, Jack Wagner, Sherri Shephard (love her!!) and Gladys Knight on the list. I wonder if they brought Maria Menounos in to groom her to take Brooke's place..... I think Brooke is a horrible co-host! She asks the dumbest questions!

And shows no interest in the answer.

Maybe Maria will TRIP Brooke, who ends up int eh hospital for the rest of the season for a broken toe, and Maria has to take over.

I had read a few spoilers but I must say that Gladys Knight really surprised me and I am glad she is partnered with Tristan. Martina should do well with Tony, I am happy for both of them.

So happy that Lacey is not one of the pros.

And is anyone else getting a "Jennifer Grey" vibe from Melissa Gilbert? Not that she has an advantage with a dancing background but moreso the "attitude"

You hit the nail on the head for me about MG...great comparison. I am glad that I am not familiar with many of them this year, makes it more fun to me.

He is very much a Diva himself! While he's easy on the eyes, his ego is out of control!!

He was good with Kirstie. She knew how to handle him by joking with him a lot.

Derek had Jennifer. While he had his own frustrating moments, I think overall, his temperament is better suited to handle the diva fits.

Traditionally, they have the 3 weeks before the show. But, the stars, knowing months ahead, that they have been cast often start training on their own.

Donny Osmond had wanted to be on the show for a while, so he trained months before he got cast.
