The New Caribbean Beach FAQ Part VII

2 hours outside of Orlando! They probably won't have our room ready this early, but I can hope. I'd love a shower after driving over 12 hours :)

I'm in room 4226! Building 42! I think my ILs will be in the connecting corner on Sunday! The bus walk isn't bad now that we know where we're going.

It was a 5 min bus wait to and from DTD!

I can see the main pool from outside my room. I'm headed to the gift shop for my mug and to take the kids to the pool!

I can't believe after 30 years of dreaming....I'm here!

Have a MAGICAL time!!!:wizard:

The weather is starting to bum me out. I know I should just be happy to be in Disney, but I only had three chances to use the pool and two are gone.

My baby is hoarse and coughing and we are headed to the parks.

The gloom is hard to deal with!

On a positive note...Cinderella's Happily ever dinner was fantastic! We wrnt to the Electrical Water Parade afterwards. Once I saw the castle in the background I realized I may be able to see HalloWishes! I checked the times and only had to wait 8 minutes for it to start! It was FABULOUS!!!!!

I guess I should buy ponchos...then head to DHS and MK! And suck up the gloom!

Checking in on 12-16-14 and out on 12-27-14, hoping for joining rooms with daughter's family in Aruba or Jamaica.

Most Guest Relations at the theme parks should have a computer/printer, and I believe most of the resorts that have business centers (most deluxe/Coronado Springs) and Art of Animation do as well.

You are arriving they day before we are!! We are all so excited. My grandsons can't stop looking at the maps to see where everything is.

I know the kids meals come in sand pails, which will be great for my two nieces who are 2 and 3. However, my daughter is almost 10 and prefers to get adult quick service meals. Can I buy a sand pail at the resort from the food court with an adult meal? Or do they sell them in the gift shop? If so, any idea how much?? Thanks! She will want her own pail for our resort day!

Nice! We arrive tomorrow and I requested Jamaica section, so hopefully I get it. I really want a refurbed room. A Murphy bed would be nice too, I'm sure DD5 would get a kick out of having her own little bed that folds out of the wall.

My DS5 can't wait to try these beds out. He was asking to sleep in a drawer last time we were there. Hahahaha! We used to live in a condo that had a pull out trundle bed. He's now obsessed. Great ideas for kids!

Two more days until we check in! :yay: We are in the middle of updating paperwork to adopt a child, and I might need to access a computer and printer somewhere to print out documents that are due before we return from vacation. Does CBR have any place to do this or is there any place on Disney property to access a computer and printer? I'm also willing to drive off site if anyone knows some place close. Thanks!

No CBR does not have the ability to do this. You need to go to a WDW Business Center. You can look up all the Ricoh Business Center locations on the WDW website.

My husband had to use one when we were there a few weeks ago. We went to the one at Coronado Springs. I know these are very important papers for you, but just so you aren't shocked, be prepared as it is quite costly to print. Pretty sure it was almost $1.00 a page. And they only accepted credit cards.

Congrats!

You would think! :) WDW only has 5 locations to do any sort of printing or business related anything. Coronado Springs does, but not AOA.

If you ask when you order for an additional sand pail, they will let you know they are in addition to the cost of the meal. When I was there in May they were $2 from the Port Royale food court. With the purchase of any meal and you have to remember to ask when you order your food. Or you can look for the Nemo bucket in the gift shop. Those were significantly more. LOL. I think $12?

We're here! Had a nice afternoon at the pool - DD5 LOVES the slides. We also got a refurbed room in Jamaica with a Murphy bed, but DD doesn't want to sleep in it! So she's got a queen bed all to herself, lol. Tomorrow morning we're off to MK with early breakfast at CRT!

We're here, too :) Beautiful resort!!!!!!! Got a refurbed room in Jamaica 43, corner room overlooking a small courtyard. No murphy bed, but LOVE the extra windows!

First time post but a long time lurker. Such great information on this CBR thread. We have stayed at CSR 3 times but after reading this thread we have decided to stay at CBR for our upcoming trip. Please add us to the Beach Bum's Roll call - staying from June 23 - June 30 2015.:wizard:
