Hello everyone, wow I feel late to the party but I wanted to add my dates and say hi.

My family and I will be staying at CBR September 16th-22nd. My husband and I have been to Disney World once before for our honeymoon but this will be our kids first trip and it's a total surprise! We plan to have a fun reveal Disney theme night, the night before we leave. It has been so hard to keep it all secret

In addition to my husband and our three kiddos my Auntie and her DIL are joining us. We have already requested connecting rooms (when I booked) but still need to finish our online check in and make our room/building requests. We booked standard and from what I have read I think I'm going to request Jamaica building 41.

I am so excited for our trip. I have been planning this vacation for a very long time and sadly something always seemed to get in the way But this year things have MAGICALLY worked out and we will be there in 49 days!!

I have a question about the main pool at CBR. How deep does the main pool get and the quiet pools?

I have the reservations linked and I did the online check in for both my parents and myself and requested Martinique first floor rooms. What is the best way to go about getting the rooms connected?

If I were you, I'd call the reservations number and ask that they put in the request for connecting rooms. If your rooms are linked, there's a possibility that you may have connecting rooms but the request would up the chance that you'd get them.

I'm in the beginning stages of planning a girls only trip for the end of January and CBR is one of the resorts we are considering. While I've never stayed here, we have visited the food court in the past and the resort looks massive.

We know we would need two rooms & if we booked a preferred room, how far would we be from the main bldg & pool?

If you book preferred, you would be in either the village of Martinique or in Trinidad North. All of Trinidad North is preferred and buildings 24, 25, & 26 of Martinique are preferred. We have never stayed in Trinidad North but have stayed in Martinique several times. The walks from the preferred Martinique buildings to OPR were about 2 minutes.

Just wanted to pop in and say that I played around on the Disney World site this morning to see if a party of 5 (all over the age of three) could book a room at the CBR. It is not coming up as an option and states that the number of guests exceeds the room occupancy. We all know that there are definitely murphy style beds in some of the new rooms so there's a possibility that families with five people will be able to book in the future. At the time being, it's not an option. Just an FYI. If anybody is able to book a party of 5, please let us know.

I've been checking as well as I am anxious to play around with dates and finalize, although I won't truly finalize til FD comes is (hopefully) released next year. I'll go anyway, but would certainly be willing to change dates for FD! I'll be sure to post on here if I am ever able to add my family of 5 to my cart!

Had trouble with online check in - I wanted to alter my requests to connecting rooms and ground floor to connecting rooms and Aruba and it won't let me make the change??

You can also call Disney and have requests put on your file. That's what I've done in the past and for my upcoming trip. When Disney sent me my invoice, my requests were on there just like I asked.

Hi everybody! We officially booked our next trip today--we will be going August 26-Sept 6, 2015. Only 392 days away, but who's counting? This will be our first time staying at CBR and we are looking forward to it!

Hello! My brother and I will be staying at CBR 10/04-10/11/2014. We stayed there last September, and loved it. We decided to splurge for a preferred room this time around. We are looking forward to our trip, and coming home to CBR.

4 feet for the main pool. The quiet pools go up to 6 feet. (Thanks for the correction mickeystoontown!)

I always recommend calling to add room requests. It's much easier to get exactly what you want.

Well...it is official. Booked a 10 day / 9 night Caribbean Beach resort stay for February 15th through the 24th. We are traveling with friends, and they will be staying at the resort from the 15th to the 19th. We have stayed at POR, POFQ, and CS, but we keep coming back to Caribbean Beach. We love the "vibe" and the tropical feel...just can't beat CB Looking forward to following the forum for the next 199 days

I went back to look at pictures that I had taken before and it appears that the quiet pools are deeper than 4 feet.

I can see if I find any of the other pictures that I have of the pools show the depth and will post them if they do.

Thanks for the correction! I edited my reply above. I've been in the quiet pools plenty of times, I guess my first cup of coffee hadn't kicked in yet.

Hi All - I read on another thread that these extended buses are being used at CBR . . . are they only used during busy periods - mornings, weekends/holidays?
Does anyone have feedback if the average wait times for buses has been positively impacted by the use of these buses?

Trying to convince my family that the bus situation might not be as bad as they think - and need some ammunition .
