Hi, I'm Kathryn.

Could I first of all say a massive thank you for all the hard work that has gone into this excellent tread. I have read every page but this is my first time posting.

Myself, my husband and two daughters (age 12 and 1), will be visiting Caribbean Beach next summer (July 25th to Aug 15th). We have only ever stayed offsite or at Old Key West before.

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of arriving fairly late at night 11pm ish?

Will check in be quiet or does it stay busy?

Will bell services be operating?

We will be taking Magical Express for the first time so any tips on that would be great.

Just booked our May 2015 trip! Please add us to the list!! We are staying May 29- June 7th. Hoping to get a room with a Murphy bed! DD loved having her own bed at POR, so hoping we can get one here!

We have finally decided we will be staying at CBR when we come to the world! I am very excited to be getting somewhere! I think CBR is going to be perfect for us (Me, DH and DD 2 turning 3 on the trip).

We are coming from Australia so we are super excited that we can actually do this for our Disney mad little girl. Any tips for building/room requests?

Welcome! Our favorite non-preferred location is Jamaica 45. It is a short stroll across the bridge to OPR and the main pool. Followed next by Aruba 51 which is the same distance, but we just love the bright yellow color of the Jamaica buildings.

Martinique 21, 22 and 23 are great too. Have a look at the map on page #1 and see what you think you might like.

It should be fairly quiet. Unless your Magical Express bus is full of guests of CBR, but I doubt it.

Will bell services be operating?

Yup. They run 24 x 7.

We will be taking Magical Express for the first time so any tips on that would be great.

If you plane lands after 10PM, you will have to get your own luggage and bring it to the ME bus. Even if you land before 10, I would still recommend getting your own luggage. Disney advertises that if you let ME get your luggage, it will show up to your room 3-4 hours after you check in. That could end up being very late.

Once you check in, head over to the Bell Services desk and they will give you and your luggage a ride to your room.

Other than that, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

We are officially booked for May/June, 2015! Another two whole weeks in paradise! I've lost count how many times we have stayed at the CBR but I'm thinking this will be our 14th and our 21st trip to WDW.

Hello! My brother and I will be staying at CBR 10/04-10/11/2014. We stayed there last September, and loved it. We decided to splurge for a preferred room this time around. We are looking forward to our trip, and coming home to CBR.

Just wanted to pop in and say that I played around on the Disney World site this morning to see if a party of 5 (all over the age of three) could book a room at the CBR. It is not coming up as an option and states that the number of guests exceeds the room occupancy. We all know that there are definitely murphy style beds in some of the new rooms so there's a possibility that families with five people will be able to book in the future. At the time being, it's not an option. Just an FYI. If anybody is able to book a party of 5, please let us know.

Yep, May 23rd to June 6th.

If I wrote that it was by mistake. The Pirate Rooms are excluded, but not King rooms. Let me go check and correct if needed.

Thank you for pointing that out! I worded that improperly. I meant to say that the King rooms will not be switching to 2 queen beds. I fixed it.

I know Pop like the back of my hand and tried to read thru the thread but might have missed this: is there a building(s) that are quieter? At pop we asked for and got non-pool view 70s building and loved it. Quiet at night is a big plus for us!

There really aren't any "noisy" areas of CBR. Being spread out, noise is never really an issue. That said, if you'd like to try and find the quitest location possible...I'd say to request Jamaica 41 or 42, Aruba 54 or 55, or Barbados 11.

Just to expound on what mcd2745 said, we have stayed at 8 other resorts across all 3 levels at WDW and CBR is the quietest by far. It's one of the things we love about it. Even when it's at capacity during Free Dining, it feels like we're the only ones in our building. Which I know is not accurate.
