Wondering how you request a specific building number? I did the online check in, and requested Jamaica, but didn't see a place to put a building number in. I know last year when I did online check in there was a spot to write it in...

There is no place/way to do that during online check in. That is why I always recommend calling and adding any requests to your reservation. Then you can get specific, otherwise you have to chose from the limited predetermined options.

Hi everyone!
My trip to CBR is quickly approaching and I'm super excited!
I have a quick question about the pirate ship water play area. It says that this area is for kids 48 inches and under. My niece is 8 and, while I'm unsure of her exact height, I'm positive she's taller than 48 inches. Would she be allowed to be in this area at all, or is the height rule strictly enforced?

She saw a picture of this and wants to stand under the ship & have the water dump on her. She keeps talking about it, and I want to be prepared to let her down gently and hype up the main pool slides instead.

Anyone have experience or knowledge regarding this? :confused3
I'm hoping that perhaps if the area isn't crowded that she could try it.

TIA :goodvibes

Technically, she won't be allowed in. However, it all depends on how crowded it is. We have been at CBR and have seen kids that are over 48" not be measured and be allowed in when it's not crowded. But we have also seen them stop and measure kids then not let them in if they are over 48" when it is crowded. So I would recommend you let her know there's a possibility that she won't be allowed in.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I'm definitely going to talk to her about not being able to do this before we get there. If she gets lucky, it'll be an added bonus.

Another question about the splash area! My daughter is 3 and would love to play in the area, but won't go too far from me or her father. Are we allowed in the splash area and into the water to stay close to her so she can play?

Very excited about our stay 10/4-10/11 but a little upset at no discounts! Was willing to arrive early for FD then missed the last special bc was told August! Should I keep trying?? Does anyone cancel CBR? Also I requested Martinique? Is this not the best? We have preferred room w a 6yo. Any advice is appreciated! Will it be fairly easy to get to parks?

It never hurts to keep trying. Yes, Disney has been warning for the past couple years that the discounts were going to start being very limited. It's a bummer I know.

Also I requested Martinique? Is this not the best? We have preferred room w a 6yo.

Martinique is a great location. So close to 2 bus stops, OPR and the main feature pool!

Any advice is appreciated!

Make sure you check out the first page of this thread for some good information and tips.

Will it be fairly easy to get to parks?

Yes. One of the things we love about CBR is that it is centrally located. Very close to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney and both Water Parks.

Will anyone who has stayed at CBR with either free dining or a AP room discount want to discuss the prices with me? I am hoping one or the other will be offered for my dates.

We are going to have 4 people and I will be needing tickets for everyone. We are DVC for 3 of us and will be wanting the DVC PAP for us and a 10 day hop w/water for the other person. I have estimated rack rate to be around $1400 for the room but I am not sure how the ticketing would work. We are going from 6/11-6/17 checking out the 18th. I would need to buy 7 night tickets? Then up grade them all? And if I do it that way will it all be a package and then I can start paying on it?

It's been a long time since we had the Dining plan but it might be a good option for this part of the trip. Or I could hope for the AP discount and then use TIW. Any thoughts?

Okay, So we normally stay At the All Stars because of being a single mom its usually just cheaper. We may still have to stay at the All Stars. But this is what I am hoping for. I am hoping to score free dining next year and Stay September 5th - September 13th, 2015. If we score free dining it would be the same price to stay at Caribbean beach then to stay at All Stars and upgrade the free dining to the regular disney dining plan instead of quick service. So I am hoping I get a little pixie dust and get this. And then if everything works out I am hoping to get a bounce back offer. Any one familiar with these can maybe give me some insight. Also we don't mind walking to the main pool or the food but close to a bus stop is a must. lol Are any of the rooms okay if I don't want to pay extra for Preferred?

TIA!!!

Every village has its own bus stop so every room is as close to a bus stop as the preferred rooms are.

More discounts have opened up. I'm taking about room only discounts, no free dining, but it helps. Also, I would check orbitz and see if it's cheaper on there. I rebooked on orbitz for POR and saved 100.00 than if I would have booked with just a room only.

Our family of 6 will be there from September 28 to October 4th! Can't wait. 60 day window opens tomorrow. :)
Yahoo! We arrive on the 27th and our window opened last night at 9pm pacific time. Where are you located? You might be able to do the same. There were tons of Fast Paases for everything so you should be good!
