The New Bond *with spoilers*

I returned last night from the Memorabilia convention held at the NEC in Birmingham over the weekend where I was selling lots of Bond memorabilia and the overwhelming opinion from diehard Bond fans was that the new film is the dogs "donuts". I met several past Bond girls who were signing autographs and they liked Daniel Craig as Bond and enjoyed the movie which is very close to the style of From Russia With Love which at the time was itself criticised for it's portrayal of violence especially in the gypsy girl fight sequence, which now seems very mild. Martine Beswick, who played one of the girls is still very beautiful and loves all the Bond movies, she also starred as another character in Thunderball but it's as the gypsy girl that she is best remembered.

I'm still of the opinion that it's a great Bond movie and i hope they remake the series in order of book release which means Live And Let Die is next but it is by no means certain that they will remake any more of the books but instead option new material.
