I need your help! Today is the last day for the poll! We need more members of the Tagliarchy over at the poll clapping! It's for a very good cause. Especially if you have sponsored a color in the poll. You never know, could be your color that wins if the Tag Fairies don't go by popular vote.

We had almost completed our festive holiday decorating, outside that is. Now this morning in one of the ads there were some things that hubby feels are essential to our scheme. Luckily he had to work for a while today and has basketball practice this afternoon, so maybe he'll forget about it. We are expecting a delivery from QVC any day now, a 10' lighted animated Santa and two reindeer.

Well, busy day. Little niece 11 months, is being baptised today. We are not going to make it to the church, but will make the after-party at DMIL. Favorite (NOT!) sister-in-law Nancy-pants is supposed to make another apperance, brats and all. Can't wait! And this is all in the middle of Ella's naptime, should be fun! BUT..... there will be pie!

I don't see movies often, but I saw "Elf" last night, the late showing. I'm not a night person and I never once thought about getting tired. What a sweet, fun, perfect holiday movie. LOVED it! Will Ferrell was perfection in his role as was James Caan (sp?). I want to see it again already and I am putting it ahead of "Christmas Vacation" in my list of favorite Christmas movies and it may even tie for first place with "Christmas Story". That's a big statement, I know. But it really was THAT good. Plus I got to have my favorite movie snack, warm buttered popcorn with M&M almonds tossed in the bag! Too yummy! I highly recommend you try both.

The after-party for my baby niece went well. The dreaded sister-in-law, Nancy-pants, didn't show. She sent her hubby and the one brat that she doesn't like as much. I wondered if she was boycotting because she didn't get picked to be godmother. She would be, like, the godmother from hell!

No way you could do that to an innocent little baby. And as expected the pie was awesome. Mississippi mud pie! Unbelievable!

Okay, I see I am going to have to pick up the new People. I do like JD, but my current favorite would have to be Hugh Jackman. I loved him in both XMen movies and in Kate and Leopold. THEN... we caught part of Oklahoma on PBS last night, and not only is the man gorgeous but he can SING.

ohanafamily and I went to see Elf today (even though he wasn't really in the mood to see a movie.) I thought it was really cute - definitely a future DVD purchase. I think a lot of the movies I want to see this season I'll be going to on my own. Since ohanafamily works retail he doesn't get much personal time during the holiday shopping season. Besides, I can only get him to one, maybe two, chick-flicks a year if I'm lucky.

I hade 2 oreo cheese cakes.. the first got dropped as I was taking it out of the oven, so we were force to eat it for dinner Just finishe making the second one for T'day...

Tink85, She had the first post on page #3, and is lucky enough to have a birthday the day before Valentines day. She has posted 13 posts in the New Tagliarchy.

TNCarole, She first joined us on page #33, and has a birthday on January 24th. She has posted 22 times in the Tagliarchy, and deserves A Tag.

Stepharoonie!, has only posted once on page #41, but she does live in Florida....

Dis-knee has posted twice, and the first one was on page #44. She has a great birthday (7/11) and also deserves a tag.

Speed Weasel First posted on page #47, but has written 7 of his 23 posts on this thread. He deserves a great tag.

Nieceosaurus is my loving sister. While I may not always agree with what she says or does, she is still my sister and I will always love her unconditionally. Please give her a tag because she is so very deserving. Her first post was on page #48, and all of her 4 posts have been here or on our poll.

We're not finished with our holiday shopping, but we did get over half of it done Saturday. I am headed back out today.

It's very cold here, with the wind chill it is about 12 degrees..

but i need to get through the T'day dinner first..I always obsess when DH's brother and family come to our house...They live in a $2 million + house that looks like the HOUSE BEAUTIFUL photographer can arrive any minute, and there clothes aren't from Wal-mart or Target.. so I look at our little house and old stuff and become compulsive about cleaning all the weird stuff , like polishing the cabinets, washing the light fixtures and washing the walls to get the finger prints off , cleaning the carpets , etc plus all the cooking, cleaning , baking and working full time... I know that they come here to be with us and for the FOOD... since SIL doesn't cook or bake ( She believes in ordering in the meal) and this is the only time they get homemade stuff.. but i do drive my self crazy

It's easier with my family, plus they bring things to help with the meal.. since SIL doesn't cook, she brings the ranch dressing since we don't like it and they do... .. Oh Well...but we have some new additions to our table this year, our neighbors next store just had a baby and they can't get home for T'day, so they are coming here..

Back to work, so that i can get leave on time and get home to bake some more...

no walmart or target clothes......oh, I am laughing because I can sooooooooo relate. I can relate to the fact that I have those clothes and throw in Kmart too.....or as my granny liked to call it Came A Part.

Well it must be nice to live so great. Even if we could, I don't think we would live in that type of house. I am pretty modest. I think I have less money than I really do. We aren't loaded or anything, by any means. I like to be debt free and it drives me crazy to make payments on ANYTHING! We have lived in our house for 6.5yrs and it is 25k short of being paid for.....some might say I am obsessive about having bills. We are staying at the All Stars newest PC and am not feeling too great about it.....but it is WDW.

Anyhow.............enjoy the meal and thank SIL for the Ranch dressing.

Morning all!! Just stopped in to say "hi". I'm off to the grocery store to pick up a few things. DD-Lainie was baptised yesterday & she didn't cry at all. It was a nice ceremony & my mom had a nice lunch afterward.

Since we know what geffric will be doing for Thanksgiving, how about a new question...what are your plans for Thanksgiving. Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?

We will be spending Thanksgiving at my mom & dad's. DB & DSIL (that I like) & their kids will all be there. DSIL (that I don't like so much) & DB will be spending Thanksgiving with DSIL's family! WOO HOO!!! . We just found out last night that my dad's sister & brother-in-law are driving down from Toledo to spend the holiday with us, too. My dad is sooo excited. As far as traditions, when I was little we used to go around the table & say what we are thankful for, but we haven't done that in a while. Maybe I'll suggest it this year. Only other tradition....Watching football!

Good morning everyone. Boy did it get cold here. The other day it was in the 80's, this morning it was in the low 30's. (Have I mentioned that I hate cold weather???) I have so toast - Mickey Toast from our toaster that plays "It's a Small World" - with your choice of toppings to go with the yummy seafood omelets.

And while I'm on the topic of food, I'll answer the new question. Our plans for Thanksgiving are to enjoy the day and then suffer through dinner with ohanafamily's family for dinner at a country club. On the bright side, we'll probably only be there for an hour/hour and half. As for Thanksgiving traditions, I don't think his family really has any - unless you count eating & running. But that's not just a Thanksgiving tradition, it's more like an "every time we get together" tradition.

Are you kidding, [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color]? Done with shopping --- I haven't even started yet. Well, that's not exactly true. Since I was purchasing birthday presents for DN-1 and DN-3 from Amazon.com, I went ahead and ordered their Hanukkah presents at the same time. (I couldn't resist the free shipping offer.) But that still leaves 4 more Nieces and Nephews, as well as friends, dragons, etc.

Actually I'm not so worried about the shopping as I am about getting out cards/letters. I seem to only get that done every other year and this is the year. I guess I'd better get going on that right away.

Great job on the list Nephosaurus. I saw you working hard on it last night, for several hours at that. I hope the TFs see it AND use it.
