Thanks for the reminder Laura. I can't believe I forgot about Bob Dylan. I have seen him twice. Once back during my Freshman year in college. I actually met him! I was on concert committee at UK & he played on campus. He looked like death warmed over. Very pale with glassed over eyes. He sounded awful, too. I also saw him open for the Grateful Dead in 1995. He was great that time.

Hi Everybody

Just popping in to wish everybody especially the Tag Fairies, a very happy weekend.

As far as concerts go here's who I've seen:

*Debby Somebody(can't remember her last name but she sang Electric Youth among others. And yeah, I was a youth at the time fortunately)

I saw Bob Dylan my freshman year at college too! Just before his MTV Unplugged show. It was mostly new songs, so I didn't recognize anything. But he definitely wasn't awful.

Tiggerfans!, when did you see STYX? DH & I love them but never got to see them. Paradise Theater is one of my all time favorite albums.

Saw them during their Paradise Theater tour -- one of the best concerts I've EVER seen! They really went the extra mile with sets and theming. The show was very much like the old album cover (sets were patterned from the album).

Huey Lewis & the News, Peabo Bryson, Commodores (as they currently exist), Barenaked Ladies, Marc Anthony (we saw TONS of bands at the 2002 Winter Olympics but I can't think of who???)

Ohanafamily -- I was introduced to Ani DiFranco by an old friend of mine. I love her music and had a great time at the concert. I have heard the Squirrel Nut Zippers' music but I am not familiar with the others you mentioned.

Back after a very long day at work and then a Cub Scout Pack meeting...We only have a few more and then DS bridges to Boy Scouts..

I have missed so much in just a few hours...

I can't really add much to the concert list, other than the WDW shows. and School band concerts.

Laura that is wonderful looking chocolate... my kids love Wierd Al.. have the movies and lots of albums.

Ohanafamily we are going on our 3rd Disney cruise. We went on the Magic in for 3 days first, then in 2000 for the 7 day and now spring break 2004 for 7 day western cruise. where did you cruise??

Chocolate chip cookies for the Tag Fariy to go with that delicious looking chocolate.

geffric, I'll field this question if you don't mind.

Ohanafamily and I took a 3-day back in Feb 2000 to get our feet wet. Neither of us had ever cruised before and not knowing if we'd like it or not, we chose the shortest to start with.

Our next cruise - honeymoon, part 2 - was the 7-day in October 2001. Ohanafamily still gives me a hard time about the "book" I printed out with all the info I could gather about it. We participated in the Halloween costume contest and actually won the "Funniest Costume" category.

And the last cruise we sailed was the DVC members only cruise (4-day) back in February. That was lots of fun but not long enough. It was cool to go to Castaway Cay twice on that trip, though.

Robin ( sorry i forgot your color) I hope i didn't offend you, i was just answering a question that was asked all the way back to this am. Anyway, we had decided on the 3 day first too, just to make sure that the kids didn't jump off the ship or get real hyper being confined to a small space.

i would have loved to go on the member cruise but the kids were in school that week . and there are only so many weeks vacation that we can take from work.
besides they would have disowned DH and me if we went on a disney cruise without them...

geffric I wasn't at all offended. I just jumped in to answer because ohanafamily was busy trying to figure out why our e-mail server was down again. The member cruise was so much fun. It seemed a lot of people left their kids at home and came by themselves because there were a lot fewer kids than normal. I think we were told the ship(s) usually sail with around 2600 passengers but only had around 2200 on the members only voyage. Maybe we'll all meet up the next time we take over the ship.

Yup Tigger Fans!, we love going home. Our home resort(s) are BWV, VWL, and BCV. ohanafamily actually bought in when we were just dating at BWV. We got VWL when we needed extra points for the 7-day cruise. I can't remember why we got the BCV, but I think that's my favorite place to stay at the moment. (We've never stayed at VWL though.)
