Hope everyone is having a Great Halloween !

Going to my kids Homecoming game tonight I hope they win .
Does everyone remember homecoming mums? Well they sure have gotten bigger then when I was in HS .
DS girlfriend is only around 5'2 and the mum was dragging the floor .
DD boyfriend got her such a large mum that she cant even wear it on her Cheerleader uniform because it pulls her top down !

One girl at the Pep Rally today had LIGHTS that were turned on in hers !

Well, we had so much fun taking our little baby girl out with her cousins for Halloween. There is nothing so cute as little ones all dressed up and just so excited! Our four year old niece just really "got it" tonight. Last Halloween she followed her older sister around but this year she really figured it all out and had a blast! "This is the best Halloween I ever had!" She said it so many times I lost count!
I saw many fairies out and about tonight but no tag fairies in my neighbourhood! I figure they must be very busy dispensing liberal amounts of pixie dust with their tagging duties. So, here's wishing all you tag fairies lots of good rest, Godiva champagne truffle chocolates wrapped in pretty colourful Canadian bills are waiting for you!

Hope everybody had a great Halloween! We had the best weather in years here. It was almost too warm, but really we couldn't have asked for better temps. I didn't get to stop in much yesterday so I had some catching up to do. Reading along as one person after another left for their trips. I hope they all have a super fun time, but I wanna go too! Mine is coming soon though!

We had beautiful weather for Halloween here in sunny Chicagoland but I had way too much candy and very few Trick or Treaters... go figure, so I guess the kids and I will have to chow down on the chocolate until I can bring it to work...

Oh I wish i was going to WDW when the crowds are lite and the rates are down but.. we have to wait until Spring Break.. although I got the Mickey Monitor and ds2 wanted to go to WDW for the new AP pin that is coming out in November. Smart Child said but MOM we have AP's so no cost for admission... howver, neither DH nor I have any vacation time left BOO HOO


llebrekniT HI.. i have been on a lot of different boards here for a while or two.. Let's see... I sell software.. or better explaination I help companies solve business issues through technolgy.
I grew up in Chicago, lived in Kansas City for a while then Mexico for a year back to KC and then back to Chicago..

We have owned at OKW since '93.. First trip to WDW was with DH about a month after our Honeymoon.. and since becoming DVC, we go for 2 weeks ever year since. Alrhough when the kids were preschool we managed to go for 3 weeks some years since we used less points to stay. We have never stayed anywhere on property except OKW and what was called Dixie Landings. I have been to Disneyland as a kid and we took our kids there last year..we loved it and want to go back. My kids loved the INDY Jones and the Matterhorn. Thought the castle was tiny, and everything was turned around. We also loved Roger rabbit and the Toon Town area was wonderful.. I scrap booked 3 2 page spreads just on toon town. We loved Soaring Over CA, can't wait for that to be at Epcot. and I have 2 boys and we also went to LEGOLAND... It is awesome if your kids are into LEGOS>

Oh it's a different day today! Yesterday, sunny, warm and fun. Today, rainy, cool, cloudy and DH just stepped on a nail.

, duh, especially when you are on a construction job where nails are kind of common.

Ok, thank you. I just needed to say that somewhere that DH wouldn't hear, because it hurts and I have to feel bad for him. I have to take care of him now. Bye!

geffric ~ We'll be staying at OKW in December. It's our first time staying at OKW so I'd love any advice you could give me for room requests! Actually, that reminds me that I'd better cancel my ressie at Dolphin!

WE like to stay near Pennsular Road Bus Stop. It is the first stop in OKW and after a long hot day, and the kids are tired and cranky, it's nice to get off the bus at teh first stop. It is also walking distance to Hospitality House, pool and Olivias. We always drive , so we don't like to be at Miller Road due to the parking situation there.

Buldings numbered 29 and under only have one entrance to the bathroom and that is through the master bedroom. If you have people sleeping on the couch in the living room, you may want a higher numbered building. This gets access to the bathroom through the laundry room.

Ok, called the doctor and DH does not have to get a tetanus (Sp?, I can't spell it either geffric) because he has had one in the last 5 years. The shot lasts 10 years if you haven't had an accident and 5 years if you have had one. Luckily, (funny thing to say here) DH had stitches in his hand about 1-1/2 years ago and got a shot then and he had stepped on a nail about 3 years ago and had one then too. Yes, it went deep, he said he could feel it hit the bone.

He's done this before so at least he's experienced at it. I bet it'll hurt worse as the day goes on, but right now he's at basketball practice because he's the coach of our son's team so he had no choice.

Tigger Fans! I love the clapping hands, but feel guilty for swiping them from you. I will only use them for others so I won't feel so bad about it. I do want to go to DL, real bad. Probably when Ella is 3, I want her to be older but I don't want DS-11 to be too old.

We have stayed at OKW 2x with family in the 2BR. Loved it! You can get very spoiled staying there. Try to get a ground floor room if at all possible. We got the same section both times. Turn left past the main pool and then all the way down. Geffric do you know where that is? It is longer getting back, but just a few moments, we always drove ourselves everywhere and we never had any trouble parking.

We are going in Dec. too, can't wait!

I've GOT to stop missing full days at the Tagliarchy. I just did a major skimming of posts to catch up. Phew, I'm pooped.

Sounds like everyone had a great Halloween. It was a sad evening for us, 'cause both our boys were at sleepovers.

SIKE!!!!!!!! We have a lot of tricker or treaters in our neighborhood. We knew we'd run out of candy, so our plan was to get the heck out of the house when the candy ran out. By 6:50 p.m. we were out the door. I posted a sign on the door "Sorry. All occupants of this house have been abducted by aliens."

So, we put our Mardi Gras masks on and went downtown for dinner and then went to see a band, Atlas. It's a nine piece disco funk band with horn section. Partaaaaay!

Okay, now that I've bored you with my story, how the heck is everyone? Sounds like we've lost a few people/dinosaurs to Mickeyland. Sheesh, the nerve of some people.

DHB, I'll be around tomorrow if you want to drop off the crystal ball.

Ok, I uploaded my halloween pictures. They are a little blurry and dark, all we have is my DS cheap, digital camera that we bought him for his birthday for $40. It's ok if the lighting is perfect and you are the perfect distance from your subject and the subject doesn't move at all. I may finally break down soon and get a "real" one. I hate electronics!
