I don't know much abt ebay, but can't you report him? Don't they have a rule abt deception?

Yeah, But he is only asking $85 for the three. Unlike the $900 that the 31st are going for. Maybe he expects to get $900 if he writes sold out.

And honestly for those people that pay those outrageous prices for MNSSHP and regular park hoppers on ebay they deserve it if they don't check out the website themselves.

I mean really, you see PH's going for way more than what disney sells them for. HUH?!

I also have a hard time feeling sorry for anyone that spends too much for something on Ebay. It is up to the consumer to research something before they buy. The only thing that bugs me is the people who buy up tons of tickets just to resell them. I don't think that is fair. If someone bought tickets and honestly can't use them and somebody wants to pay 10x more then they are worth, I laugh and say go for it.

I just did "ask seller a question" and asked "I'm confused, is the 24th sold out? They are still selling tickets for that date on disneyworld.com. " I'll see how the seller replys. -Steph

i just checked... did not see anywhere that the seller said "sold out" (and he gives the true retail value in his florida ticket resale disclaimer at the bottom, so anyone that bids more deserves to go broke!)

The seller must have changed his description because i looked at this before and it definately said sold out before.

I saw it too...it said sold out...he did change it at the top it says revised.....

I cannot believe that 5 tickets for october 31st are currently at 710 dollars with 4 & a half days to go!!! Thats insane! They party was a good time last year, but not worth THAT kind of money!!!!! Im just shocked!!!

I can't believe the prices, either!!! I have a ticket for the 31st and starting to wish I bought a few extra ....! :scratchin:

I keep thinking (not that I would EVER advocate such a thing!!) - but if people are that desperate to go, wouldn't it be easier to try to sneak in somehow? Maybe get in with park admission before the park officially closes and wear bulky costumes so no CM will notice you have no wristband? Wouldn't the CM's relax their eyes after an hour or so and stop checking for wristbands so much??? Do the CM's check everyone waiting in Tomorrowland and escort out the ones without a wristband?? Seems like with so many people and since they do not clear the entire park, that wouldn't there probably be a way to get in without a ticket?

Well, at least these Ebay bidders seem to really want the tickets at these prices!

I don't have a problem with people getting a lot of money for the tickets...I just hate when people tell lies to do it.

I figure, if someone really wants to go to the party that badly, let them pay. They probably have a lot of money and it's up to them to do with it as they please...

I am glad the guy took off "Sold Out" from his description...

Now this one says sold out for the 29th...

I hate deceptive people like this...Make a buck, yes...Lie about the product...NO!!!

Oh, I have no problem with the way people spend their money either! Im just so surprised! I never would have imagined that they would go for so much.

"A fool and his money are soon parted."

$85 for 3 tickets is not a bad price.

Problem is that $85 is a starting price...If it was a Buy it Now, I would have no problem with it but saying the night is sold out just to get a better bid when it is not sold out is deplorable.

I'm with you. Saw one auction recently that had the starting price at $850 for 3 tickets for 10/31. Had a Buy it Now for $999.

Had the statement at the bottom for Florida Residents
"Florida Residents: Florida state law restricts the resale price of a ticket for this venue (event location). If you are a resident of Florida, your maximum bid cannot exceed $650.00" Thought this was very odd as the starting bid was already over the maximum bidding price for a Florida Resident.

Don't know if they ever sold or not. This particular person was just out and out scalping the tickets. There were others on at the same time that started out their bids at $1 and were up over $400. At least they started their bids low and it had moved up on their own.

When I told my DH about it, he said maybe we'll have to buy a couple next year and try and sell them. Even thought about doing it for MVMCP on th 25th, but there isn't one on the 25th.

Found an auction that states the 28th is Sold Out - Disney page still has tickets for that night. Decided to ask the seller why they had stated it being sold out when it wasn't.

I personally would never buy tickets off of ebay. And anything I do buy, I research first to see what the going rate is and if I can buy it first hand cheaper or at about what it is going for on ebay, guess where I'm going to buy it --- Not Ebay that's for sure!

Why do you care if someone else does this? Is anyone hurt when two people come together and agree to do 'x'? I mean come on, when is the last time you got upset over the mark-up on products at a convenience store??? Again, why all the hating?

Can't speak for everyone, but my problem with it is someone profiting by taking advantage of someone else.

It is definitely an individuals choice whether or not to purchase the tickets, but it still kind of rubs me the wrong way that someone is attempting to mislead others by trying to sell them "sold out" tickets to an event that is not sold out!

JMHO. :)

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see where it's stated that it's sold out.
