So now I guess Vance is a single dad. Does killing off Jackie mean he's leaving too I'll miss her, we didn't see her often enough.

Or could they be putting us on like NCIS:LA did with hte first episode of the season Can't figure a good reason to fake her death though.

I was not expecting that episode. It was so good.

Absolutely stunning. I was shedding many tears after this episode. I think it was the guy that met with Zeba's father, the supposed friend from Iran. I think it was his people who killed Eli and Jackie.

I agree that it was a great episode -- the writers really stepped up -- but I have to say ... I am just so. darned. tired. of Ziva. I don't know what it is about her that just rubs me the wrong way, but I have never liked her. Not the smug assassin Ziva, not the "broken doll" Ziva, not the newly-minted citizen Ziva, not even the warmer fuzzier Ziva. Love the actress ... dislike the character.

I feel kind of the same way about Abby lately. I LOVED her in the early seasons, but not so much as the show has progressed. I want that cocky, self-assured Abby back. Let's get rid of childish, "ooooh ... i can't believe i found my long-lost brother " Abby.

But ... I digress.

I certainly did NOT expect Vance's wife to die. Expected Papa David to end up dead. Not at all looking forward to Ziva's revenge trail and Tony (I assume) trying to talk her out of it. Why they keep trying to turn Ziva into a female Gibbs is beyond me.

That was just an added prop. Like the thong underwear. Sight gag, nothing more.

Yep, I noticed that too! I thought the big ending would be that she and Vance were having another little Leon.

I actually enjoyed the episode. It's been an unfortunately long time since I was interested by ncis I'm afraid, so it's nice to have one that caught my attention.
