The NCIS Official Thread

While we love Perrette, I suspect that she's literally made the role her own, essentially by playing herself, at least with regard to temperament, personality, etc. (She's even interested in forensic science, herself.) I don't think we know if she can effectively play an equally-memorable character, long-term, that is substantially different from Abby.
Let's hope that she doesn't get stereotyped and is not able to get other roles. But I think that even if playing Abby is her last film role, she will do well in whatever she does.

Though, if she truly can't play anyone other than herself, then being typecast might actually help her.

That's true. Does anyone know if NCIS - LA uses Abby like CM Suspect Behavior tends to use Garcia? Maybe there will be a show centered around Abby's character one day. Who knows?

IIRC, there was some thought about crossing Abby over (and indeed she did appear in an NCIS: LA two-part episode), but I think that thoughts regarding a long-term arrangement along those lines didn't pan out, and perhaps the addition of Renée Felice Smith reflects a more final decision along those lines. I don't doubt that we'll see more cross-over between the two series, but I think, at this point, the only character that we can expect a consistent amount of cross-over from is Vance.

I don't watch any of those other shows on CBS, but I have seen Abby on a couple of episodes of NCIS-LA.

I don't really care for NCIS-LA either, Dh loves it, but I just can't get into it like NCIS. I think it is just the closeness of the original team that I lie so much and don't get that from NCIS-LA

Hey NCIS & Numb3rs fan, Allimi Ballard tweeted that he is guest starring on NCIS for a few epis. It will be fun to see him reunited with Michael Weatherly.

Who was he on Numb3rs? i can't think of his name.

oh and HOW THE HECK DOES GIBBS GET THE BOATS OUT????????

He was David Sinclair. It will be nice to see him again. Dylan Bruno seems to be focusing on bad guys these days.

I actually had to look it up.... for those others who didn't realize, they were in the cast of Dark Angel, and before that, in the cast of Loving.

So who watched tonight's episode? I almost jumped out of my seat at the end!

that was totally disgusting

i hate those things at halloween - couldn't imagine having that looking at me in a bar

eeeewwweee

Great episode. Is it a continuation? The coming attraction for next week looked like a totally unrelated storyline.

So why does Gibbs dislike Barrett so much? Is he just being territorial?

I think the show is laying the groundwork for one heck of a season finale! Can't wait to see what is going to happen next.

"Abby" tweeted during the show... at the end she said the eyeballs were from "someone we know" on the show......

:headache:

1 of these years I'm getting a laptop so i can do the FB/Twitter stuff and watch my show at the same time. I don't do Twitter normally, but it would have been fun last night.

Now Dh and I gotta go rack our brains.

ohhhhhhh - Mike Franks? Vance??

maybe the new blonde???? ohhh that woudl be good since Tony has NO LUCK with romance

Oh maybe Ziva's beau? (Loved him on Without a Trace, too!) I hope next week's a continuation; otherwise, that's just mean!
