You snuck in on me, Liz! Glad there were no bloodbaths last night. When my sister told me her dress was green I was kinda like but I think it turned out very pretty. She was going for a mermaid look. You can't tell, but I think the back of her hair and her earrings and her eye makeup really helped with the mermaid theme. See, that's why I was never any good at going to dances. I just picked out a dress, grabbed some jewelry, and threw my hair up any old way. I just can't get into the obsession about that kind of stuff.

Because we already knew it was pink. Duh.

What the heck is up with my stupid computer??? It's taking forever to get on the 'net and to get from site to site, page to page...if I even do; more often than not I'm getting "cannot display page." This is most frustrating.

It's been pouring rain all day...I thought that might have something to do with it, but my mother's computer is working just fine.

A downward turn in temperatures here this week, at least at night, has given me thoughts of playing in the white covered mountains. I sooooo need a few days away.

I have a rant this morning. I almost wasn't here to post this...

I'm in a long line of traffic, red light ahead, just sitting there and minding my own business. It's one lane each way. And then I realize there's a dark shape coming up behind me, very quickly, no signs of slowing down. I actually closed my eyes and braced for impact. Nothing...opened my eyes and look to my right. There's a black car on the sidewalk exactly parallel to me - wasn't one there before! - and the driver is on his cell phone. Looking at me and LAUGHING HIS FOOL HEAD OFF.

I so wanted to get out of my car and rip that damn phone out of his hand. We have a cell phone law in this state - it's about time the cops started enforcing it.

I'm still shaking.
