The Naughty Nuts Redux: Cocktails, Suntan Oil & Barbs!

I am here to say I survived the rough play the bouncing ladies dished out.

All I can add is the support garment industry does not really receive
the recognition & praise it so richly deserves!

Report!

I am lining our new kitchen cabinet drawers & cupboards & arranging things there.

Did I ever tell you Nuts I am absolutely anal about drawers & closet arrangement? :dance3:

Later on I'll go rake some leaves & plant some lavender.

Yeah, I know, life in the fastlane in East Japeepeee, NH! :rotfl2:

Please tell me that is a joke!!!!

Why?

You should keep it just for the memories!!!! :cloud9:

I have photos. Why keep the actual dress? Just one more thing I'd have to move...

I put too much Nassau Royale in my cream soda (I'm testing it for someone)...whoo, boy, I'm buzzed!

Okay, nobody's here...I was going to repost the sad kitty with nobody at his party, but I think I'll just take my booze and go play elsewhere...

by myself...

'm here.....for a bit anyways! I need something to imbibe also! :guilty: What kind of person would I be if I let you drink all by your lonesome? :confused3

Now, tell, all! Who's the date?

You know, I think you'll fit into the dress by summer '09. Call me psychic

You are testing Nassau Royale for someone, how kind! :goodvibes

Yay! Proms! Lots of flowers, tuxes! princess:
What is your sister's dress like?
What kind of flowers (if any) are the style to recieve there?
For DS' prom the girls had flower bouquets with ribbon streamers. Personally. I wouldn't want to schlep that around all evening, but there it is.
Is she going in a whole group or dating? Report!
Oh my, Jean, lots of questions!! I was so not into the prom thing in high school. I just went because I thought you were supposed to. I was never good at obsessing over dresses and doing hair and makeup for hours on end like the other girls. Anyway, my sister is just the opposite. I can't even remember how many dresses were purchased and returned until the perfect one was found. My sister had a wrist corsage the boy brought her. And she pinned a whatever it's called on him. Him being the boyfriend of the hour. I think this one's name is John. She went in a big group, and all the kids met at my parents' house to do pictures.

Big sister, little sister:

You mean you were able to find a sports bra? :confused3

Yes, that is precisely what I meant. How ever did you know?

Cute, Liz!!!! I should dig up some prom photos. :scratchin I still have my prom dress, but I don't know that I'll keep it too much longer. It would probably (hopefully) still fit, but what use do I have for it?

Ummm.....maybe not such a great idea, Liz!!!!
Your smileys and you scare me. :scared:

Night, Nuts.
:grouphug:

1. Oh, snap! :rotfl2: Seriously, at age 17ish, I'm not sure she SHOULD be settling down with just one boyfriend.
2. Ha! Rob was right again! I knew because I am smartish.

PJ: your sister cleans up nice! :lovestruc
Love the color on her! Her hair is perfect!

Yes! Let's see Peanut Prom Pics!

Hi Rob!

The date was my boyfriend Dan. That's his truck behind us. He played the guitar. We broke up a year later, but got back together 8 months after that. Lasted another 2 years.

I don't think I'll ever fit into the dress again. It's actually not my waistline - it's my ribcage. I don't think my bones will get any smaller, no matter how much weight I lose!

Go ahead, post kitty. :rotfl2:

You both look so pretty! I do love her dress - the pale green seems unusual (I've really never seen one like that) and it's very flattering! Gorgeous!

Rob...I am a fan of ish, but I am not a fan of RobInBigKC, so that really did nothing for me.

Jean...My prom pics are all at home. I'll have to wow you with them later.

I've had a thrilling morning of paper writing. 19 pages and almost done. I'm going to take a quick break and go for a run to allow my mind a little rest!

You snuck in on me, Liz! Glad there were no bloodbaths last night. :scared: When my sister told me her dress was green I was kinda like  but I think it turned out very pretty. She was going for a mermaid look. You can't tell, but I think the back of her hair and her earrings and her eye makeup really helped with the mermaid theme. See, that's why I was never any good at going to dances. I just picked out a dress, grabbed some jewelry, and threw my hair up any old way. I just can't get into the obsession about that kind of stuff.

My junior prom dress was green. Emerald green, though. And another girl (a sophomore) wore the exact same one. I have a picture of her and I together. I filled it out better :snooty:

Your sister looked so pretty; I can see the mermaid idea! Did she do the sparkly, pastel eye makeup? That's what I'm picturing.

Spaceballs is on! "It's Mega-Maid, sir! She's gone from suck to..."

Uh...never mind...

Okay, here goes:
He ain't real purty or in a fancy dress but this is the Mighty Zippy.
Photo by DH, who was messing around with B&W.
He liked the Zipster's teeth showing.

This is Patrick playing Whack-A-Mole at a DISMeet, Canobie Lake in 2005? or '06.

He won 2 Fraggles--the best score!

Love all of your pics - your DH looks like one of my coworkers (coincidentally, also named Chris)!
