Well, it appears to be solved, at least.
For some reason, Disney is apparently blocking off the 6:15 show for reservations until the previous month. In other words, you could not book shows in August until the beginning of July. Several people, including myself, who had been unable to book the 6:15 show previously have done so since the beginning of this month.
Some are speculating that Disney is trying to drive traffic to the early or late show. Perhaps some will just make the reservation and assume 6:15 is unbookable, I guess, but it seems like a strange strategy on Disney's part.
A few people have had success booking the 6:15 show right at their 180-day mark, perhaps the block isn't put into place until shortly after that point.
In any case, if you're looking for HDDR at 6:15 in September, I would try in early August.
