Seems like anything goes, doesn't it? Which pin will be short shipped this coming week?
Figaro seems to be an LE of 500.
I use to try to find out from the CM's the night before what their pin stock was. But after the first couple weeks I couldn't get anything other than vague replies. "One box" "Two boxes" "Whatever they shipped us." "I don't know."

I think we all get the "chef's surprise" on Saturday morning.

I don't even try to venture a guess anymore. It's all I can do to get myself up and out each Saturday mornng bright and early. It's getting colder outside and that's not my idea of a good time. BRRR! I could've sworn I promised myself I wouldn't do this anymore after the beanie thing.

I do not want a single one of these pins for my personal collection.

Yet, I have been going to the mall each Saturday morning, earlier and earlier, to stand in line to buy pins mostly for DIS friends.

Belatedly, my DH decided he wanted the posters, and each of my kids wanted a few pins. But the rest of my weekly haul . . . all for my online pinpals.

I'm not sure about other stores, but I know our local store is going to be "short" of three of next Saturday's pins. They are Winnie the Pooh, Oogie Boogie and Darkwing Duck. Since I need to get four sets altogether to help out some DIS members, it looks like we'll be visiting other stores come Saturday morning.

It is sounding more feasible all the time to just throw the binder and what I have of this collection on Ebay and walk away from it.
The numbers were low to start with. These short shipments are getting past ridiculous!
I hate to think I have to start asking my in-laws to go to TDS every Saturday too!

My prediction...no one will have enough Cinderella (that will be so because this is the one I like best).
I also HATE these short shipments...I have made friends on the pin line, and hate to think I have to get there earlier and earlier every Sat. morning, only to be sure I can deprive my new friends of pins they really want, too. It also seems to me that there are enough pins (except #1), but they are distributed VERY poorly. Usually, if you call around when you get home, and spend $100's on your phone bill, you can find an extra of this here, and an extra of that there, and after you spend an additional $40 per week in shipping, you can wind up with a complete set...
What will happen after December 15th? Will there be a glut at TDS, and will people who bought pins to trade have trouble unloading? I bet Disney will be offering complete sets for purchase!

I'm just curious... what makes you think they'll sell full sets? Have they done that in the past? Has it historically been the same price that we're paying for each one?
