So I figured I would make a list of everything we missed last time to make sure we do it this time.. Tips and suggestions would be very much appreciated :) TIA

Sailing Ship Columbia

Toon townChip 'n Dale Treehouse

Captain EO Starring Michael Jackson- What is this?
Innoventions
Space Mountain-Height:40"
Starcade

“ A Bug’s Land”

Francis' Ladybug Boogie
Heimlich's Chew Chew Train
Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies-Height:36"

Golden State
The Bakery Tour
Grizzly River Run-Height:42"

Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar

Hollywood Pictures Backlot
Animation Academy
Character Close-Up
Disney Animation
Disney's Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular
ElecTRONica
Sorcerer's Workshop

Paradise Pier

California Screamin'-Height:48" - if she is tall enough
Duffy the Disney Bear????
Games of the Boardwalk
Golden Zephyr
Jumpin' Jellyfish-Height:40"
King Triton's Carousel
Mickey's Fun Wheel
Silly Symphony Swings-Height:40"
Toy Story Mania!

Now clearly this is a lot that we missed. And this is a short trip.. What are your must do's and what is something we should skip?

FWIW your Must Do list has things we still have not done after many trips (Mission Tortilla factory) and things we only get a chance to do every five years or so (DC Canoes). I guess what I am saying is that it is good to have a Must Do list but you may be including things on it that are just...well...not must do.

The list is all of things that we have not done yet. Due to not having time/ DD being too short for rides/ or them being closed when we were there.

So my question is.. What on there should I make sure to do this time.. Personal favorites and what not.

Thanks HydroGuy :)

When are you going??? Crowds will vary during different times of the year. All these are based on my opinion from when I usually go. I usually go during the last week of May into early June before schools get out where the crowds arnt bad at all, but due to school field trips and such it can get a little busy. Especially on weekends. All I can say about any time of year is that take advantage of the Fast Pass system.

Adventure land
Indiana Jones Adventure -IF DD is tall enough
Enchanted Tiki Room

Indiana Jones is a very popular ride and depending on the time of year you go. The ride can get lenghty pretty quick come noon. I suggest doing this ride fairly early on in the morning.

Critter Country
Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes

SKIP! Just go on the Sailing Ship Comumbia or the Paddle Wheeler. You wont have to paddle, and you get a better view of everything along the Rivers of America

Fantasyland
Casey Jr. Circus Train
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Tangled

If you have over a 3 day pass you get magical morning where you can enter the park an hour early before the general public and you can go into Fantasyland and do the kiddy rides. I would suggest taking advantage of your magical morning if you have one. If not, I would try going to Fantasyland first in the morning and trying to beat the afternoon crowds. As for Tangled you may need to get a park brochure at the main gate to find out when Tangled will be present. If it's a must see then give yourself some time and head back to Fantasyland early so you can get a decent spot in line.

Frontierland Will these be open at the end of Febuary?
Mark Twain Riverboat
Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island
Sailing Ship Columbia

Check Disneyland.com for the most accurate upcoming refurbs.

Toon townChip 'n Dale Treehouse
Donald's Boat
Gadget's Go Coaster-Height:35"
Goofy's Playhouse

Toontown is always fairly busy, except for the Go Coaster which is short and keeps the line moving quickly, the rest of these in your list are play houses you can walk into at your own leisure.

New Orleans Square
Haunted Mansion

Personally. I enjoy these at night time. I find that the haunted mansion is good before noon, or after 7pm.

Tomorrowland

Captain EO Starring Michael Jackson- What is this?
Innoventions
Space Mountain-Height:40"
Starcade

If you enjoy Michael Jackson, Captain EO is a show he made back in the 80's that Disney put into 3D. So many people enjoy this attraction at Disneyland, and I too went to see it because Michael Jackson is AMAZING! But from my opinion I am going to suggest Youtubing the video before you see it. Just cause although an outdated movie it still may scare your child, and you will get a sense as to what it is about.

Innovations
It's just OK!!! The house of the future on the bottom level is a must see. It's incredible. They have wonderful animated Peter Pan rooms and everything for kids, among many other things I dont want to give away.

Space Mountain
MUST MUST MUST!!!! Its a roller coaster in the dark, but it looks like your in space with the stars all around you. No big drops but lots of turns and extremely fast with loud music. Hopefully your child is tall enough. If not maybe you can take turns with someone who can watch her, so you can at least have a go. I cant miss this ride at all when I go.

Starcade
SKIP!

“ A Bug’s Land”

Francis' Ladybug Boogie
Heimlich's Chew Chew Train
Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies-Height:36"

Definitely a must see, if you have kids. They are little kid rides, but still worth it. Just to say you have been on it and done it. Your child may really enjoy them, and if it is hot out when you go, the spray park is a nice way for them to cool off.

Golden State
The Bakery Tour
Grizzly River Run-Height:42"
Mission Tortilla Factory
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar

The only things here I would say are a not miss are the Grizzly River Run if your child is tall enough, and the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is fun for kids too. Everything else your not missing anything.

Hollywood Pictures Backlot
Animation Academy
Character Close-Up
Disney Animation
Disney's Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular
ElecTRONica
Sorcerer's Workshop
Animation Acadey is cute if you find the time. If not, dont sweat it. The Sorcerer's Workshop YES YES YES! So awesome down there.
Aladdin Musical.. If you miss this you would probably kick yourself. Its the most fabulous show. Ive seen broadway musicals that werent nearly as good as this, and this show is free. Electronica I have never seen, but I hear it is pretty fun. Something to check out if you definitely have the time.

Paradise Pier
California Screamin'-Height:48" - if she is tall enough
Duffy the Disney Bear????
Games of the Boardwalk
Golden Zephyr
Jumpin' Jellyfish-Height:40"
King Triton's Carousel
Mickey's Fun Wheel
Silly Symphony Swings-Height:40"
Toy Story Mania!

I am going to say that this entire area of the park is a blast. California Screaming might be frightening for the child as its fast and has big drops. But it is amazing for adults. All the other rides are good for kids. Mickey's fun wheel may scare the child if your in a swinging gondola, but there are stationary ones. Toy Storia Mania is LOADS OF FUN! Probably my favorite thing on the boardwalk. Fun for all ages.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANKS YOU!!! This HELPS SOOOO MUCH!!!:worship:

No problem! Glad I could help ya. No matter what your going to have an amazing time. :cool1:

I don't know if you are interested in seeing any of the shows, but if you are... World of Color is a definitely a MUST see. The show is beautiful :) BUT make sure you get your fastpasses for it (you can get them at the same fastpass distribution as Grizzly River Run).

You can also get Dining packages for World of Color, for the Wine Country Trattoria or Ariels Grotto. It includes prime viewing for the show. There are also $14.99 picknic packages you can purchase for the world of Color show which gives you a promised space for the show, but the viewing spot isnt as prime as the Dining package.

Did you and Brooke see the Aladdin show at DCA last time you went? Are you going to DCA this time? If you didn't do it last time you should go to the Aladdin show... I think Brookie would really enjoy it.
I REALLY want to go when we go, but I don't know if Elliot would do good in it.

I thought about doing Ariels.. but then saw that the characters wont be there  so didn't want to have to go there twice

We didn't do it last time. Ran out of time. Why don't you think Elliot would do good? Hey.. time is right and maybe he will be sleeping :)

I wore a pancho, then pulled my legs up onto the center thingie where you zip your bags in to keep them dry, and when you buckle in, move the poncho out of the way, so the poncho isn't buckled in too, and then pull it down over your legs! I was also wearing a baseball cap and that seemed to help keep the poncho hood on my head.)

  2. Muppet Vision 3D
