The Montana Minnies have returned from our 1 week ( Jan. 3-10,2012) WDW vacation. We were joined by our brother, his wife, their 3 daughters, 1 son-inlaw & 2 of their grandsons ( ages 2 yrs old & 6mo) It was great staying for our first time as DVC Members in a BLT Grand Villa with a Magic Kingdom View. 
Even our sceptical brother was sold, he told us before we left that this was going to be his last disney world trip since he doesn't like flying, but once there he changed his tone and the question was, "When we come again can we get this exact same villa?" We all just loved it.
They left after 5 days so it left just us 2 MT Minnies so we transferred over to a one bdrm at OKW. It too, was just awsome as were the cast members. MT Minnie2 could not be happier and me I can only dream about becoming a member myself someday.
PS: We will be returning in Sept. for a week at the Boardwalk.

I was wondering....did you go to the "Top of the World Lounge"? and if so, did you have to take the elevator to the first floor just to go up one flight from your room?
