The movie 1408 & the Dolphin Resort -yikes!

Anyone see this movie? I did, makes me not want to ever stay at the Swan and Dolphin

There was a shameless Disney plug in the movie.. regarding the HM.
but I dont think Disney had anything to do with this movie????

Although, HM reference and the "Dolphin Hotel"

I dont usually like scary movies like this. I didnt think it was going to be that bad... I thought it was scary

I used to work nights (alone) and decided it would be smart to read this. Not a good idea.

I read the story, it was pretty good I thought. I would like to see the movie to see how it differs from the short story......I love his books, but sometimes his movies end up being not as good. How was John Cusack in the movie?

I think John was good. It wasnt like his normal role to play, but very good.

I think he was the perfect actor for the role, he normally has such a casual, carefree air about him, which really worked well in this movie IMO.

I don't usually like scary movies and alot of that is because of the gore content in current flicks. Suspense I do love. This one is really catching my eye.

I went to see this movie because of John Cusack. I thought it was really good. I don't like slasher/blood/guts types of horror movies. This was definitely not one of those. The suspense throughout the movie was incredible. I would recommend it!
