The Mouse-KIDS are in charge...a Jan '12 PTR NEW 2/5 TR link & new tickers

That's funny... I'm uploading about 80 pictures for a "family" PTR update right now!

I didn't realize how much of an adventure you were embarking on when you went to pick up Bekah! It looks like it was a fun little get away. :thumbsup2

It sounds like Bekah had a great time at camp and you had a fun little getaway going to pick her up. YEY for Mickey pancakes.....I make those at home sometimes too! :)

Your mini PTR reminded me that I need to make sure I have Quarters and Pennies on the packing list for the pressed penny machines in Disney! Thanks! :goodvibes Now I'm sitting here thinking about ALL the OTHER things I still have to do to get ready for our trip! Ahhhhhhh....

Your trip sounds like a lot of fun minus the heat and all the hours in the car but it seems like you broke up the driving really well. :thumbsup2

Now THAT is what I call strawberry lemonade! Yum!! :cutie:

Love the little ducklings and their mama!:cutie: It looks like despite the heat a good time was had by all! That camp looks like a really nice one!

I'm with Amy -- I didn't realize it was such a trek to collect Bekah! However, it looks like you had a lot of fun both in the town and the camp! That strawberry lemonade is something else! Not sure how I feel about sundae strawberries dumped in lemonade, but glad Rachel liked it!

I was going over budget details again for Oct and this trip plus working on a trip to do list for Oct...doesn't seem like to much but there's a list ;) yes pressed penny money we have some chanage left over from last yr...so I'll count that up closer to Jan for Rachel and maybe start a book now for Naomi-Ruth :thumbsup2

So we are jumping on the DISwagon trend and embarking in a 30 Q WDW challenge to have some fun in our PTR :thumbsup2 …to mix it up a bit I had the children make their own questions and we split the list so you’ll get answers from all the kids but not for every question…so thanks to LL for starting it and SB for playing along too in her PTR…have some fun w/ us won’t ya? :goodvibes

The Mouse Kids WDW Challenge:

I have to say that within the Magic Kingdom, we absolutely love the Crystal Palace for breakfast.:goodvibes Getting into the Magic Kingdom early in the morning with no one around, absolute heaven.:cloud9:

We are switching it up a bit in October and going to the Crystal Palace for dinner. I truly hope Madelyn enjoys the character experience.

Hmmmm...this is a very hard one for me.

Part of me wants to answer Liberty Tree Tavern because I love the atmosphere and decor and the other half of me wants to answer Casey's Corner because I think about those delightful corn dog nuggets way more often than I should.

Hmmm. If I HAD to absolutely pick one then I would answer Casey's Corner. :thumbsup2

Our favorite would have to be Crystal Palace for dinner. We've done it both trips and it's at the top of our list for good eats this trip.

I really don't have an answer for this one. I think that as a kid we ate at Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree Tavern, but I have no recollection. When I was there in 2006 we only ate QS and we just ate at the closest place with the shortest line when we were hungry. The only one I remember specifically is Columbia Harbour House at MK and Pizza Planet at DHS. Hopefully after my trip this fall I will have a favorite to add.

OH yeah...I do remember doing the Polynesian Luau and Hoop Dee Doo Review as a kid too, but can't really remember the food. OH well! Sorry...I am no help! LOL :rotfl2:

I do love the question idea to spice up the PTR! I might have to play along! :)

That's easy....Pecos Bill's! I always get the double cheeseburger and fries and load up on stuff from the toppings bar.

:woohoo: Yea another 30 day challenge participant! I love that you had the kids make up their own questions, how fun!

I'm going to go with Casey's...it's just an iconic MK meal for me. I still love it there, healthy buns and all hahaha.

Hmmm....that's a tough one since we've not at that many places in Magic Kingdom! I think I'm going to have to go with dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. The food is just delicious!

I agree that CP alone is absolute heaven but walking down Main Street is even more special :goodvibes

I agree I love those misty early mornings, walking down a nearly empty Main Street :cloud9:

Hmmm. If I HAD to absolutely pick one then I would answer Casey's Corner. :thumbsup2

I have never been to Casey's Corner but we going in Jan. and I am really looking forward to it

We have eaten at LTT once for my Mom's b-day back in '09...I thought it was quite lovely :thumbsup2

Our favorite would have to be Crystal Palace for dinner. We've done it both trips and it's at the top of our list for good eats this trip.

I have eaten there for bfast and it was AMAZING so I bet dinner is just as good!

Is the dinner a character buffet too? we haven't done to many of those...

I have been to lots of restaurants at WDW and can't remember all the food so you're not the only one...if I had to pick a favorite QS at MK I'd pick Pinnichio Village Haus...you should try that.

Yes Caden would like seeing the IASW through the window if you can snag a table there...

That's easy....Pecos Bill's! I always get the double cheeseburger and fries and load up on stuff from the toppings bar.

I bet it's better than McDonald's

Yes Bekah way better...:thumbsup2 kind of bummed it won't work out to eat there over the next two trips...but for sure the next time that is one nice toppings bar!

:woohoo: Yea another 30 day challenge participant! I love that you had the kids make up their own questions, how fun!

I'm going to go with Casey's...it's just an iconic MK meal for me. I still love it there, healthy buns and all hahaha.

Yes Casey's sounds great :woohoo:

Yes I thought it would be fun especially for the dup readers across the boards to answer some diff Q's...never had the unhealthy buns so I guess i won't know the difference ;)

We ate there too and my Ja-Ja's [grandfather] tshirt looked like the mug logo...my Mom bought two of them

thanks for playing along guys...Q 2. will be coming along shortly...popcorn::

Yes, CP has characters at every meal. :goodvibes
