I just heard the owl and what a beautiful sound it is.

We were really afraid the he didn't make it after Charley. It was nice to hear one of our old friends is back.

As I was preparing for the hurricane, I saw the squirrels and birds in the backyard and it made me wonder what they would do. I feel bad enough for them when it rains! I'm glad your little buddy is ok.

Isn't it nice when after a storm you hear something like that again? Sort of like nature's way of saying, "it's ok".

I, on the other hand, nearly had to be peeled off of the ceiling when visiting my in-laws years ago. They live in the mountains of SW Virginia and neglected to mention the Screech Owl!!!! HOLY COW!!!!! I nearly had a heart attack!!!!
