We have never done a split stay before, but beginning next week, we are staying at five different WDW properties.

First night at POFQ because I didn't want to pay deluxe prices when I will not even arrive until five or so. Next, three nights at the BC.

Then BF and son are arriving for four nights at the Poly. One the day they depart, DS is joining us for 5 nights at WL. Then we will visit relatives for a weekend and then spend one night at FW Cabins.

This trip just evolved into this...Our family goes every August, and stays at one resort. When my best friend and sister decided to join us, we just let them choose the resort they liked best! So now, five resorts in one vacation.

How many have you stayed in?

Can't wait to go! Stay away Irene!!! :wizard:

Whoa! 5 - I haven't even had the courage to do 2! :earseek:

In any event, have a great time, and please do tell us how it went afterward! :teeth:

We did five on this past July vacation. 2 night POFQ, 5 nights VWL, 2 nights POR, 5 nights OKW and 1 night AS SP. In addition we had a Holiday Inn Express on the drive down and drive back.
I don't mind the moving, and I kind of have it down to a science so I really don't lose/waste time.

You, my friend, are to be commended. :teeth: You're very brave. :sunny:

I have spent so much time planning this, if it were a class, I'd have have earned at last 3 Disney credits. :teacher:

Okay, here's the sad part- I had to check my signature to count up which trip had the most resorts! Looks like 5 is my top number so far.

3 resorts with 3 small children is the most that we have done. I love resort hopping.

Your trip sounds like a lot of fun.

Lori

On My Mother Daughter trip we stayed at 2CSR,6PORFQ and 2AKL. We thought might as well my father would never resort hop and we got great deals on all the rooms

Ok, here's mine.. 6 days total..... 1 POFQ, 3 POLY and 2 at POR. We wanted to stay at the Poly for the six days, but, we could only get a room for 3 nights, so, we decided that 3 days at the Poly was better than nothing. Believe ir not we had a great time !!!! :cool1:

1 Tops! With 4 of us, we settle in and make it HOME!

But, that being said, next year, with only the two of us, we're going to split a standard/concierge stay at AKL - but even that feels challenging!!!

I've done 3 in one trip. We were planning on 2 - 4 nights at All Star Music, then the last night at POR (still Dixie Landings at that time), because we had never done anything but camping at Fort Wilderness and the All Stars, and we wanted to experience a Moderate as a little splurge. At the last minute, we decided we could go one night earlier, so we stopped at the Ocala welcome center on the way down to see what was available, and ended up for one night at the Disney Institute, which was a very pleasant surprise - I would never have thought of staying there, but we loved it!

Four different resorts in 9 nights. 2 nights at HRH- 2 nights at RPR- 4 nights at CBR (had a problem there) and 1 night at CSR. This was 2 years ago.

In June, we did three resorts in 4 nights!! 1 night at POP- 2 nights at WL- 1 night at Poly! I won't do that again!! That is way too much moving in so short time!

So long as you stay organized it will come off pretty easy. Looks like you have a plan so you should be just fine. If Disney were college I would have a Ph. D by now ;) with all the trip planning time I have put in! In the end it is all worth it when it all goes smoothly! :wizard:

You guys have got me beat with 5! The most we ever moved around was 3 years ago. Rented a house for 2 nights, then cruised on the Disney Wonder for 4 nights. After that was CSR for 5 nights and ended it at AKL for 4 nights. And that was with a group of 12!!! :faint:

Doing 5 next week for my 9 night stay! I will let you know how it goes! :)

I've done five resorts in one vacation...it was fantastic. Felt like an adventure. I'm a single mom and it was just me and my three year old. We first stayed in GF for 3 nights, then WL concierge for 2 nights, 3 nights at the YC, then 3 nights at AKL, and the last four nights at the Swan. We got to visit every park from different vantages points, experienced an incredible array of atmospheres between all the different resorts...it was wonderful!!!

the most we ever did was in 2002 we drove, stayed at a westwind suite in washington dc 1 night, next night, holiday inn kidsuites, next 10 nights CBR,
(decided to stay longer...) 2 nights CSR then last 2 nights Best western international dr.

next trip... 4 nights HRH 1 night holiday inn sunspree, 4 nights POFQ, 5 nights Poly concierge

somehow we almost alwaysend up switching resorts :confused3

I've done four resorts in one visit - CBR -2 , AKL-2, Offsite-2, HRH-2. It was an eight day trip. What was I thinking ?!? There's four of us, and I had to do all the packing too.

It sounds like you have some breaks in between your visits to WDW, so maybe that will make it easier. Pack light ;)
