MissTink, lucky you! Only 3 days to go!!! All packed? Good for you. I pack and repack again the day before. I never learn. The first pack is always the best one.

My bag is still open so 'technically' I'm not done. There's always something I almost forgot. There's just too much to remember.

We leave here on December 6th and drive down to Santee,SC( 12 hrs). Following day we drive (approx5hrs.) to St.Augustine Beach and relax a bit, then up early for the 2 hour drive to WDW. This way we hit Disney by 8 or 9 am, and we dont lose the day to driving and being worn out.
Arrive at the Beach Club on the 8th, then over to the Polynesian on the 12th and our last day is the 16th. Then we reverse the above driving route.

edit to add-I forgot to mention we will be at MVMCP on Dec.13th


We love road trips in this family. I'm good for one full day of driving which is why I push myself to Santee. The following day is a short 4 or 5 hour drive to St. Auggie Beach and the next morning is just a hop, skip and a jump to Disney.
Out here in the boonies we consider anything less than 150 miles just a hop, skip and a jump

This December will our first time. Dont know anything about the place , but we're looking forward to our stay. From what I've read they are about to undertake a major rehab to a few buildings. I am most concerned that Hawaii wil be done by December.
Did u get a chance to dine at 'Ohana or Kona? What did ya think abot it?

ohana was great! the food was superb and its a lot of fun. definitely try the steak and the shrimp, those were the best.

you will love the poly, its a great place to stay!
