The Most Expensive Free Trip Ever - TR Link is Up! Pg. 164

I still can't get over how young the kids look in the pix.....

do you think that Disney will ever add dolphin shows and the like?

Juvenile humor is the best!

Hey, I took the dolphin pictures. She took the killer what photos. (But she did a good job.)

Oh, in that case, what I meant was - great Killer Whale photos!:lmao:

No, I'm kidding - they were ALL good. I never manage to catch them at the right moment as they're leaping. Dang shutter lag.

I thought you'd like those killer whale photos even more, with that information.

That dang shutter lag was another reason we wanted to move up to a DSLR camera.

Might be cleaner than what's in Stormalong Bay.... just sayin'...

Swim diapers can do amazing things.

Judy did pretty well with the camera!

Budweiser donkey???? I can't say I remember any commercials but I can totally picture one dreaming of becoming a Clysdale.

I can't see Disney really doing an animal "show" beyond FOW without getting a LOT of flack, I just can't see them wanting to go there but you never know.

Yes she did. I think she'd rather not be responsible for documenting the moment....but she did well. I remember her being happy with her shots considering that she had to anticipate and compensate for the shutter lag.

Found it. Wasn't too hard, just went to Google and started typing "Budweiser donkey". I didn't even make it to the "n" before I saw Google filling it in for me.

That's what I think too about a dolphin or whale show at Disney...don't see them ever doing it.

I've also seen them have incredible blow out disasters! :scared1:

When one happens, that's the best description for it: "Disaster".

Oh no! glennbo123 posts an update and I'm away from the DIS for days!!! Hopefully I won't have my membership revoked :lmao:

Lovely update! Your kids were so young then... James is almost a baby!

I've never been to Sea Wold (WDW gravity is too strong on me LOL!) but I've seen orcas shows in other kind of parks... and I agree with Marlene, the best part is when you get soaked :rotfl:

When you win the Glennbo trivia contest with a perfect score it's almost impossible to have your membership revoked. So, you've got that going for you. (I'm thinking Bill Murray in "Caddyshack" here....referring to the Dalai Lama, "He said that on my death bed I shall receive total consciousness. So I've got that going for me." I love that line.)

Getting soaked can be fun, as long as it's a hot day.

Aren't swim diapers like Ft Knox? Nothing gets in or out? Disasters must be nuclear in nature.

"The China Syndrome"

Had to Google that one, guys. Never heard of it... On my rental list now, but I"m sure I'll have a funky tweak on my perspective... :lmao:

I'm surprised you'd never heard of it. You must be a young'n. I can't say I've ever actually seen the movie, but know what it's about. I remember what was uncanny about it was that it came out right before the problems at 3-Mile Island. Wikipedia says it was released 12 days prior, I didn't realize it was that close.

It says the tagline was "Today, only a handful of people know what it means...Soon you will know." Maybe now it should be "Today, only a handful of people know what it means...'Cause this movie was made over 30 years ago."

I've never heard of The Chine Syndrome either. :confused3 Must google.

Swim diapers are mainly meant to hold some pee and perhaps a small amount of well-formed poo. Yeah, I know. Way TMI. But, you asked.

I like the "well-formed" description! :rotfl2:

They can't contain those dreaded nano-particles!

Coming out 12 days prior almost begs to question a conspiracy theory...

Now I really wanna take a dip in the local Rec. District pool!!! Mmmm...mmmm

Remember those days when you might find a stray Lego or such???

I try not to think about those things when I'm in a public pool.

On Tuesday the 21st we went to the Magic Kingdom. We got a little bit of a slow start and didn’t get to the park until after 10 am.

Now I know it goes against commando-park-touring advice, but we got inside the park and saw Mickey and Minnie there signing autographs and taking pictures and we just couldn’t resist. We got in line and after a while it was our turn.

Here are the kids getting Mickey’s autograph.

Isn’t James cute, standing there in that last one?

I played around with that last one in some photo software. I kind of like this cartoon-look on this one.

And then Judy and I joined in the picture.

We made our way over to Tomorrowland and found Chip and Dale (actually Dale and Chip was the order in these photos) signing autographs. I’m not sure why James isn’t in these pictures….I guess he wasn’t a fan.

I just noticed their ankle bracelets. Hopefully those are part of their futuristic fashion and they weren't ankle monitors, with Chip and Dale under house arrest.

After that we took in Carousel of Progress. I believe the kids were underwhelmed. We left there and walked toward the hub and saw a show starting in front of the castle. The kids watched that while I planned out our next few rides.

The teacups were next. Here’s what we looked like, pre-spin cycle.
