Day Two: Part Two!
In our last exciting installment, I had left you all to contemplate on the wonder of the cream cheese pretzel. After a little bit of people watching and absorbing some of that OMG Im in Disney World! magic, it was time to exit tomorrowland and make my way throughout the rest of the Magic Kingdom. Though I dont have any pictures of it, I think I went on Stiches Great Escape (I cannot remember if it was on this morning or later in the trip though. I simply cannot ever remember things in order without picture or some other memory assistance). In any case, I thought it was alright. It would certainly be improved with omitting the burp smell though. I was very content just seeing the animatronics though, since I am a bit of a sucker for nice animatronics. Ok, Im a big sucker for animatronics!
But my jumbled memory aside, I made my way to the super secret path of wonder.
You know, this one:
Yes, apparently, its invisible to most people. How fascinating! As a side note, I love the trains at Disney. Theyre just adorable.
This path exits in Toon Town, which was fun to explore, but if I went back I may skip it. However, it is full of cute and clever things to take photos of!
Look at that, Mickey has his lights up!
When I buy a house, I would very much like a mailbox shaped like my head. That talks when people pass it. Also with lasers.
The walkthrough houses were decked out in holiday fashion, but my attention was mostly on that fish. You go, fish. Show that rod whos boss.
Mickey, you get that fish out of a bowl and into a proper aquarium right this instant!!! Or Ill come and find you, and bother you about it until you do! Grrr, doesnt he know that keeping any non labyrinth-breathing fish in a bowl is a sure way to a dead pet?
Other than that, I may or may not want those slippers.
Hey look, its my kitchen! I mean, um
no, my kitchen pretty much looks like this. Unwashed dishes, stuff on the fridge, paint on the table. Im afraid I was moving at a rather quick pace to avoid getting in peoples way, so I didnt get the best photos.
I very seriously intended to tell Pluto this, but I never ran into him. Anyone ever do this?
Hey look, its a tent Im not going into!
And some genetically altered vegetables!
I was enamored with the book titles. ITS NOT THE YEARS
ITS THE MILEAGE. REPLACE Your Wheels Without TIRING. HOW to TOON-UP Your Car. Getting to the root of YOUR FAMILY TREE. AUTO-BIOGRPHY. Give Your Car a BRAKE. Yes, ita all very punny.
Toon Town: Its Corny! Hahahaha.
And now for Minney.
Im afraid I didnt get many pictures inside Minnies house, but check out the rare specimens she keeps in her sun room! The punnienes continues!
Daisies!
Buttercups!
Tiger Lilies! Tulips!
I also took a quick look into Donalds boat, but sadly the play fountains were not on. This whole area was cute enough, but Ill shed no tears when its removed to make room for the new super awesome new fantasyland! Speaking of
.
First things first was an attraction Ive never seen, Mickeys Philharmigic.
A great little attraction, this one! Especially for those of us who want to see more of Donald! So, of course its funny. Also, you get to wear these oh-so flattering glasses!
Again, no pictures. But I do believe I went to Winnie the Pooh at this point. Cute, but ever since I saw the videos of Poohs Honey Hunt in TDL, I think my standards for dark rides have risen. Ive never even been to TDL! Though I will, some day. TDL and DS, you hear me, Im coming for ya! Someday far in the future though, when Im not a starving art student. At this point in my TR, though, I would like to thank my iphone, for both waking me up and entertaining me in line. I had this fishing app I would play in line and look like a moron with the casting and reeling motions.
