What a peaceful morning around the lodge for you - I did that on our August trip and it was fun to just wander and explore.

I'm surprised we didn't see you by the pool that afternoon - that's where we found ourselves too! Did some swimming, a little bit of reading, and a whole lot of studying the back of my eyelids. Until this obnoxious bird wouldn't stop making a racket!

Too funny that your sister decided to get a run in BEFORE the race! Craziness! (Congrats to her for finishing the marathon though! So cool! I get tired just watching the marathon in our town!)

There was nothing planned for this morning, no park to visit, no schedule to keep too, nothing! So you'd think I'd lie in right? Wrong, I was wide awake by 6am and instead of annoying my sister I got dressed, grabbed the camera and refillable mugs and went to search every inch of the lodge.

we laughed and joked how this 5K we were meant to be doing would end up being about 10K by the time we'd finished, little did we know!!!

Hmm, foreshadowing?

THEY DIDN'T FEED YOU?!?!

I'm just shocked that Disney didn't have snacks/water/ sports drinks on hand for the Moms racers, especially given that you were filming first.
