The Mominator Vs. The Kinder Gentler Me...Go Read the TR!!!

Okay, I'm an idiot. WHY has it not ever occured to me to use a Word calendar template??? I sit here with Excel and a calendar trying to work all this stuff out.

I'm not really a planner, I just play one at WDW...:rotfl:

D'OH!! :headache: Me, too! Obviously LL is smarter than a 5th grader, a writer and a SAHM! :rotfl:

LL, love the new avatar! Did you really get it, or is it just computer fun? :)

No...I haven't gotten it....yet. Been thinking about it. You can try out all kinds of stuff on NC's DMV website so I've been playing around with a few different ones. Doom Buggy's taken...so is Lauralee...:headache: both versions of Mominator that I tried were available, so I just may do it! :rotfl:

Yes, LOVIN the new avatar! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Why thank you!!

Am I the only one who does NOT enjoy driving a stick??:confused3

Tony gave me some driving lessons in the Vette this weekend and I gotta tell ya...it was NOT all that much fun for me:confused:

There's too much to think/worry about driving a 6 speed...I just like dropping it in "Drive" and going...:car: it's just too "high maintenance" for me:rolleyes1 I was, however, given the green light to go ahead and "buy yourself an automatic vette"...wasn't that sweet of him?? Apparently Tony thinks that money grows on trees here.... Had we bought an automatic when I asked...

BUT I will continue to drive it...ok, maybe once in a while...so DH doesn't begin to think that it's HIS carpirate: And I correct him in front of everyone when he says silly things like "MY vette", "MY car"...

If anyone remembers the one thing you almost always heard on General Hospital at the Q's house....Monica would say "It's MY house" and Allen always piped up with "I gave it to you"....:lmao: Well, yeah....it's kind of like that!!:rotfl:

Why thank you!!! Man...missing us by just a week? You can't change your dates???:confused3

Unfortunately not. We're renting DVC points so that makes it a little hard to change, plus my 2 friends I'm going with start classes (college)the week :headache: you guys will be there. Oh well. Some other time.

Glad to hear you got the Vette. Can't wait to see pics. They had a beautifuleVette at Epcot in Test Track last time I went.

(Ok so I just went on Photobucket and got an ad for Free Dining at Disney, hmmmm is that a sign? ;) )

My first few cars were manual and it takes a while to get there, but I promise there will coem a day when you won't need to think about what you're doing anymore - it'll just "happen"! What I miss about manual is the control and that awesome punch of power when you down-shift. VROOOOM!!!! That said, my knees are too messed up to drive stick anymore, so I'm relegated to my sluggish automatic.

It'll get to be more fun, I promise!:thumbsup2

Am I the only one who does NOT enjoy driving a stick??:confused3

:rotfl2: LL you can do it and when you get it it will be so easy you'll wonder what all the fuss was about :) As V said you can change gear and really accelerate past other cars and you'll leave them behind at the lights :thumbsup2

You could always doo what my one gf did when she went to buy a stick. She test drive cars at all the dealers in her town until she learned how to dirve it...then she went to the next town over and bought the car froma dealer where she didn't "do any of her test drives" :lmao:

Let's see... a new 'vette starts at $45K... we'll be nice and assume he meant a used corvette in mint condition, $20K. That should buy you about 200 more DVC points. There you go! He's given the big OK for your next add-on! :yay: You'll be stayin' in 1 and 2-bedroom villas as much as you want! :goodvibes

Um.... yes, apparently. My first automatic car was only 6 years ago, which was an SUV. I've always just preferred the power of a manny tran. Just sayin' :rolleyes1

Men....

So I get an email from Youtube yesterday morning saying that I've got a message from some user whose name I didn't recognize. I thought maybe it was a DIS'er that had checked out my skydiving video...

I went to check it out and this is what I saw:

"That is by far the best tandem skydive i have ever seen. Lauralee you did great.
Nick
your instructor "

Big dreamy sigh :cloud9: ....I don't know how he found it (me), but isn't that COOL!??!?!

I think I have a little crush on him...

Tony and I have "a date" tomorrow...we're going to the beach for lunch in the Vette...I'll take some pictures - I still haven't put any up of the car yet...

OH and get this...Michael's daycare teacher has been fired for ripping off us parents and the center apparently of money!! They made us pay $100 for "summer activities" and then the last 2 weeks we've had to continue sending in money, almost daily, for trips to the movies, the local pizza place, etc...turns out SHE was sending the notes home, getting the money and not taking the kids anywhere...:sad2:

Last Friday Michael was supposed to go to the movies and apparently she took them to "walk around the mall" instead and kept their movie money!:headache:

Can you believe that? What a beyotch! So she got fired and he gets a new teacher today...:sad2:

That's so sweet of your instructor :cloud9:

Have a great date, sounds lovely

OMG that's outrageous about the teacher, good job she got sacked!!!

A drive in the Vette, followed by lunch on the beach??? :cloud9: Sounds just about perfect to me - enjoy!

O M G, I can't believe that about Micheals' teacher! Unreal. :sad2:

It's okay, you're allwoed a cruch. Tracy's got her "lover", right?! ;)

   I;m glad to know that we are no the only one's having daycare issues:sad2: Wednesday I got into it with one of the teachers at Jimmy's school. When I drop him off in the morning I set up his breakfast in the breakfast room, when I was getting ready to leave he told me he had to go potty. I tool him out to go potty. When we went back to the room Jimmy went in ahead of me and the teacher started SCREAMING at him for leaving the room. I walk in 5 steps behind him and said excuse me he was with me, if you two (there are 2 teachers in the room) stopped talking about your personal lives so much and paid attention to the kids you would have known that.   When I went in yesterday and today she wasn;t there. She is still working there, but she no longer works the breakfast room:banana:
