The Mominator Vs. The Kinder Gentler Me...Go Read the TR!!!

Ok, so I called and ordered tickets for the Pirate & Princess Party. I ordered DH one too...just in case...

Anyone care to wager on whether or not he actually goes? Payable at the bar???:confused3
Oh, he’ll go, I’ve no doubt at all!

Hmmmfffff....a GREAT day. What happened to Have a Magical Day?? I sometimes call for no reason....I ask a stupid question just to hear someone tell me to "have a magical day".
Know what? In 6 days, never once did I hear “Have a Magical Day!”. What’s up with that??

I may change my parks around a bit...I'm thinking of swapping TL on the 22nd for Epcot and going to TL on the 24th...but will I be happy about that? Hmmm...That's almost like 2 pool days in a row...Or is it? Or perhaps the 23rd....Well, back to the drawing board...:teacher:
Okay, I was going to hit you and Tracy with this later, but you opened the door…
Any chance you guys might want to figure out a TL or BB day we could do together and get the kids together? I can’t even tell you how much fun we just had at TL! All the details are still to come, but we sooo want to go back in Aug. Enough so that I may add another night/rearrange nights to make it work.

Speaking of the dining plan...our favorite psycho stalker has been around, commenting on the free dining plan...:lmao: :lmao: I think I'll be lurking to see what comes of it...:rolleyes1
How come the drama always happens when I’m away? Point me in the right direction, please…

I also need to upgrade my AP. I think. I never bothered upgrading to the premium the last couple of trips as I knew we wouldn't be hitting any water parks and I really didn't expect we'd go to Disney Quest. So then as I was thinking of upgrading, I thought I'd see what the cost difference was to pay admission to TL over upgrading. BUT if I upgrade, then if Heaven forbid, we deviate from THE PLAN, and decide to go to a water park more than once  or something, then it would pay for itself...
I can't remember what the cost was to upgrade...something is making me think it's like $100 a person for some reason. So would it be worth it? :confused3 That remains to be seen I guess...
I’m going through the same thing. A waterpark AP is about $100. Would I be better off doing that plus the FL Seasonal AP or should I ge the FL AP w/ water parks in it? I’ll have to work some non-Fuzzy numbers. Let me know what you come up with.

Now I'm thinking I'll re-examine the plan to get a half day of AK in there SOMEWHERE and someplace for lunch on the 24th...:rolleyes1
Do you have Biergarten yet? We had such a great meal there this trip!

Oh, he’ll go, I’ve no doubt at all!

Well, we'll have to wait and see...as of last night, he's still insisting he's not going. I told him that I bought a ticket for him anyway just in case he changes his mind...

I FINALLY got a "Magical Day" with my 2nd to last round of ADR changes... And it made my day...:cloud9:

I'll have to find the link, but it's a thread that Mel started (if I remember correctly) about the DDP "dumbing down" dining...I gave up reading it. Too much drama...the lovers, the haters...can't we all just get along??:confused3

Well, I think if we're going to go to a waterpark on the 25th, then I should definitely get the AP upgrade. It's about $100 per AP for me to upgrade to the premium. I wasn't going to do it as I was only planning on going to TL on the 22nd and I figured that'd cost me around 85 or so with the DVC discount for the 3 of us, but if I'm going more than once, then I think it'd be smart to upgrade. My AP expires in December and I've been warned (:lmao: ) that August is it for this year and that January is it for next year...I'm sure I'll have some points I just have to use before I lose them though :rolleyes1

Do you have Biergarten yet? We had such a great meal there this trip!

As a matter of fact, I do! I cancelled Alfredo's and booked Biergarten for the 24th at noon. I initially booked Alfredo's for "old times sake" before they close, but Tracy ever-so-gently reminded me that they'll be "cleaning out the freezer" :scared: .

But then again, we could all be wrong...I read they're going to re-open right away and then close next year for refurbishment...so who knows??!?!!?

Wow - can I just say it's sooooo nice to have you back??

What?!? I've yet to receive a "Magical Day" from those Disney World people. I went to Dland yesterday and they were all over the "Magical Day" for me!

Hmmmm... I'm up for it. Tracy? Jo? :confused3
Ok, I don't want to be a buzzkill but I'll have to duck out on that one. Only because A: my tickets don't include WP's and B: I can't handle 2 kids in such a large area with drowning potential (mainly Evan). BUT, I won't feel hurt or anything if you guys decide to go there instead....pinkie promise!

Oooh! I saw that, but decided not to post as I don't really like the phrase "dumbing down" and that really got my blood boiling. :rolleyes1

Sorry, but it could happen. :scared:
The Patina group is taking over and we have 2 Patine group restaurants here in DTD that are FABULOUS!! :thumbsup2 Though, I heard they weren't taking over until mid-late September. :confused3

Well, I know I'm still pretty new to the boards, but I've read all of your TR's (and Princess Vs) and I would be so excited to meet you all. Unfortunately, I arrive in WDW on Sept. 1... a little too late.

Can't wait to hear all about your girls' trip. I'm SOOOO jealous!!

Hmmmm...some funny, huh? I'm not sure I have much...Michael's teacher only called us twice last week so it turned out to be a better week than it had started out! He got his Mickey Mouse tv and dvd player taken away Monday night. Tony was unhooking everything telling Michael he was taking them away and that he had to earn them back. And of course, wise guy that he, Michael folded his arms across his chest and said "That's ok, I didn't want them anymore anyways". Of course, a half an hour later he was wondering where they were....:rolleyes1

I don't remember if I told you guys but we had company for most of the week and we said goodbye to everyone last night, so it made for a long weekend. My brother's ex-GF, her daughter (my niece) and the ex's parents came down from upstate NY to visit. If you can follow that, you earn a gold star. My brother and I don't speak and haven't spoken in about 2-1/2 years or so and he HATES the fact that I'm close to my niece and her mom (his ex) and doesn't want them talking to me and even tried to get the court to block them from visiting me. Nice, huh? So we all go out to dinner Friday night and my niece, Micheala, is sitting next to me at dinner and all of a sudden she goes "My daddy says I can't come see you. You're bad" Oh really? Nice thing to teach a 3 year old, huh? He even went so far as to threaten his ex that there will be "repercussions" if she comes to see me. :sad2: He doesn't speak to my mom either and the same thing goes for her - he doesn't want them to have anything to do with my mom either. So he spent the week sending me nasty emails to leave his daughter alone, that he never wants to have anything to do with me again, yada yada yada...Great. Works for me. Then stop emailing me!!:rolleyes1 So we'll see how the week goes for them - this coming weekend he has Micheala so it should be interesting. She loves, loves, loves her cousin Michael and they had a lot of fun together. And I spoiled her rotten while she was here and I'm sure that's all she'll talk about next weekend is cousin Michael and Aunt Lauralee...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!:stir: So other than the drama, we had a lot of laughs at his expense!

Anywhooooo...more drama than laughs this week...

Hmmmmm...need to change this boring subject...Anyone??

 Ah ha! I'll give you a topic...

The chick pea is neither a chick nor a pea. Discuss....:rolleyes1

Ooh, sounds like fun... Families can be so interesting! AND you get Cruella, too???

Happy Mother's Day! :goodvibes

Thanks - and Happy Mother's Day to you too!!:flower3:

Yes - I get all that and Cruella too...my address should be "Dysfunction Junction", dontcha think?:confused3

Ah, everyone's got something like that. I'm an only child and my parents are pretty "normal" but DH's family... Sigh. :) And I have a cousin that you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. ;) Dysfunctional is the new functional, I say.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Hmmmmm...chick peas????? I don't know if I've ever even had one...

Why don't they call it guy peas??? Well, that sounds dirty...now I know why!

Well if T wanted funny she'd better not read your last installment :rotfl2:

So are you out of your jammies yet?????

Wow, I'm impressed. We always threaten to take away Maddies TV/DVD player, but that usually straightens her out. USUALLY! :rolleyes1

Well, you know what they say, every family has a crazy relative or 2, and if you don't then YOU'RE the crazy relative! Aren't you glad your not the crazy one?? :lmao:

The chick pea is neither a chick nor a pea. Discuss....:rolleyes1
But did you know that if you turn them upside down, they do look like little chubby chicks? I know this b/c Waldo and I made a barnyard diorama when I was in grade school and we use chick peas as chicks and used toothpicks for legs. :thumbsup2 Just a little chick pea trivia.

Well if T wanted funny she'd better not read your last installment :rotfl2:

Ah, contrare, my friend. Laughing at crazy relatives is the best medicine! :teeth:

Ah, contrare, my friend. Laughing at crazy relatives is the best medicine! :teeth:

:goodvibes So I basically did NOTHING today, but DIS, lay on the couch and watch chick flicks all day and I watched the Wedding Date...the one with Debra Messing...know that one? She hires an escort to pose as her BF at her sister's wedding...she's warning him about her family and she says to him, "You know how everyone in your family is crazy, but at the end of the day they're still your family and you love them anyway? Mine's not like that." Then she says, "Well, I like my dad. Well, he's really my step-father so technically he's not family. He's more like a hostage.":happytv: That just cracked me up!!

Oh and love the mental picture of the chicks-on-a-stick...did you get an A on it? Was it for school? Did you say? Or does he do these kinds of things often?:confused3

LY!

So are you out of your jammies yet?????

Ummmm....nope!:rolleyes1

BUT - I am now sitting upright in the office...I've been on the couch so long that when I stood up I left a "hidden Mickey" imprint on the cushion!:lmao:

I read that somewhere a long time ago...was it Umama? I can't remember, but sadly can not take credit for that little gem!
