The Molecular change has begun.updated 6-09-09 (with Pictures)

Hiliarious PTR! I'll definitely keep up as much as I can lol.

I'm a new DISer so I don't know the whole thing about the paint chips, but I really like the idea of putting them together and laminating them! I can make ID badges for the kids just in case I get so caught up in Disney that I forget one

Oh my goodness, It's my dis buddy!! I've missed you Ty. I've even looked for you on myspace, (hopefully that doesn't sound too stalkerish). Sounds like things are going well for you. I'm glad you got in touch with your friend. What a wonderful place to finally get together at. You guys are going to have a blast.

Still crackin me up woman!!!!

:banana:It's ILMICKEY!!!!!! How ya been girl? No it's not stalkerish to look for me on myspace,:rolleyes1 ;) I don't have one though, I do all my searches through Reese's myspace. But I'm happy you looked for me. Got any WDW plans in the making?

Yea, it is gonna be a blast, of course Marz and I will have to sneak out once Ma is asleep so we can get our drink on. Just like old times only we didn't drink back then, oh and we never snuck out so nevermind.:confused3

Well it's good to see ya here, hope you stick around and add your wit to this PTR.

okay so with the story about you and Marz you had me with tears in my eyes and after that I've been cracking up at everything else. I'm really loving all your stories. The LGMH heist with the disguises :lmao::lmao: This sounds like a PTR and a TR that I do not want to miss out on. I'm so glad that you found your long lost friend and a reunion at WDW.....what better of a place to do it at than the most Magical place on earth!? I get goose bumps just thinking about it for y'all. I can't wait to hear more about your planning. :thumbsup2

Oh and it stinks that your DH is not into WDW. That's so sad. I read about so many DH's on here that are not into WDW and just can't imagine how hard that is. I can't get my DH to vacation any where else. I hope your DH eventually comes around and lets his inner child out.

Thank you for reading, I'm so glad you are liking it. I still can't believe I found Marz after all these years, I'm glad I never gave up. I try and play out the reunion in my head and it's still so unreal I can't totally fathom it yet. I do know I will probably cry like a baby.

Yeah, DH went to Disney World with us in 2006 but refused to go back with us ever again, every once in a while I get a maybe out of him, but at least he has no problem with me going with out him. He just gets to hear about it every waking minute. YOu are so lucky to have a Disney lovin DH.

You're a quilter? That's awesome, I have made 2 quilts in my life, 1 for DH and one for my MA-in-law, all with my mothers help of course, I enjoyed the time spent with my mom but I think quilting takes too long to get a result, I need the instant satisfaction that scrapbooking gives me.

p.s- twizzlers worked wonders for me. Same shape as a cigarette, I would just chew on them all day, hold them in my mouth, pretend to smoke them. Remember, you can take the weight off your body, but you can't get back the years of your life you loose smoking!

Sorry if that came off as preachy, I just want to encourage you- I really thought I wouldn't be able to do it, and I did, and I know you can too!

Can't wait to hear more plans!

Knowing me I would try and light the twizzler, wonder what inahling that is like?
Thank you for the encouragement, it is helpful, I have cut back a lot. But for me driving is the worst, I have my smoking routine on the way to work and I have tried to substitute it for other things, so far it hasn't worked, but I really want to quit and be able to breath at Disney.

Alien green paint chips are what some Diser's use to identify themselves to other Diser's, we write our usernames on them, it's fun ya know, something else to keep us occupied until the time comes that we can actually leave for our trip.

ID badges for the kids is a really good idea, especially if you "forget" one:lmao: I'm sure things like that happen alot at Disney. There's so much to take in how are you supposed to keep up with the demands of holding onto all the kids?:confused3?

I heard a rumor that crocs are going out of business, this rumor was verified when I went to Boscov's to get a black pair for my trip. I really wanted the ones with the wooly lining, I figured I had time since my trip isn't until January. But since they are going out of business I won't be able to get the ones I want, so I settled for just the everyday crocs in black. They were the last ones in my size and they were 20% off. Ollies has a bunch for $10 but they are all for the big footed woman, I am talking size 10. I could almost fit both feet into one shoe, but it would make it harder to walk around Disney and the whole purpose of getting the crocs is to make walking easier and less blisteric. (Yes blisteric is a word, I just added it to my vocabulary and it will be featured in my dictionary shortly.)

I have come a long way, for my last trip in 2007 I was agonizing over the decision to buy a pair of the hideous looking clown shoes, I broke down and got a gray pair and my feet have been thanking me ever since. I wear them when I know I will be doing a lot of walking, plus they are easy to slip on and off making them great for car trips. I plan to look on line for the ones I really want. But I am glad I was able to get another pair.

Oh man I can only imagine how emotional that reunion will be. It's exciting just to think about for you. It's almost like finding a long lost sister.

Well that's good that your DH at least is cool with letting you go on your trips so you totally scored there. You can do all girls trips 'n such which I think is awesome. I could never do that. My DH would pout like a 4 year old if I went to WDW w/o him  but I do think that having an all girls trip would be nice at some point. I'll just have to clone myself before I go on the trip so my DH won't notice that I'm gone. :rolleyes1

I sure am! That's awesome that you at least tried it out with your Mother and made a couple of keep sakes. I've only finished 2 quilts so far myself. A baby quilt for my BFF and an advent calendar for my MIL. I've been working on one for my DH for the last 2 years! He doesn't believe he'll ever see it finished :laughing: I agree that quilting doesn't give you that instant gratification that scrapbooking gives you (I used to do that as well) but I enjoy all the different steps that are involved in it.

Would one of ya'll like to learn me how to multi quote?

Down next to the "quote" button there's a button right next to that that has the quotes on it with a piece of paper......on the posts that you want to respond to click that button and it will turn red. Keep clicking on the ones you want to respond to until you are ready to respond. Then click the "post a reply" button at the bottom of the page and up will come where you type your message but instead of being blank or only having one message quoted it will have all of the messages you selected to respond to. Hope that's not confusing.

I heard about that too but I, myself, have never been able to bring myself to purchase a pair so I'm not all that disappointed about them going out of business. It does suck for all of you that love crocks and all of the people that will be losing their job. I'm glad you found at least one pair. I hope you are able to score the pair you actually want off the internet.

And for made up words....my rule is that if you use it in a sentence it automatically becomes a real word. :thumbsup2

OMG. Your millionaire game..... I think I peed a little.

I am so glad you got your Crocs. I mean, I guess. Since we don't really know each other, the friends don't let friends wear Crocs rule doesn't apply, does it? So I can just be happy for you and your comfy toes?

Have I mentioned that I think it is awesome that you are reuniting with your old friend? I have rekindled so many old friendships via the internet (facebook!) but none that have been the special type that you had. Mostly just the awkward, "yeah, so what have you been doing the last.... 20 years?" (btw, the first time I ever typed that, I had to immediately dial the suicide prevention hotline. I mean, only OLD people talk about stuff from 20 years ago!). I have become so close with people who were mere acquaintances and spent uncomfortable silences wracking my brain for something to say to someone who I had one time planned to run away to Europe with. :confused3

Marz was/is like a sis to me, I'm kind of nervous about the reunion though, I know it'll be sappy and happy, I just hope that we both haven't changed so much that the time becomes awkward, I'm sure it'll be fine, it's just me worrying.

Yeah, DH is pretty good about letting me have my girl time, and it has saved me so much money since I didn't have to buy a cloning machine. :lmao:

Thanks for the help on multi quote, I used to fear the computer, now I have a love/hate relationship with it, let's hope I do this right.

I found the pair I want online, I plan to make the purchase by this weekend, and I went and tried on the black ones I bought, dummy me got the wrong size:guilty: I hope they have what I need when I got to exchange them.

I got plenty of made up words, glad to know the rule about using them in a sentence, that will come in handy when playing scrabble.

I have talked about marketing my millionaire game, DH said it could cause divorces world wide and we should just keep this brilliant idea to ourselves.

Friends don't let friends wear crocs? :lmao: Oh no, I push them on people, I'm a croc pusher. (and apparently a bad friend :confused3:rotfl:) I just care about comfort, It's actually quite selfish on my part, I don't want anybody's sore feet to slow me down and ruin my good time, plus fashion crimes work better when you are not the only one committing them.

I have met up with old friends and we talk for hours and promise to keep in touch and then never talk again after that, occassionally I might get a Christmas card. But Marz and I have learned our lesson, we are holding on tight to each other now.

Yeah, I can see how that would make you nervous. Time does change everyone but I'm sure you two will find new things to connect on. Disney will probably be one of the easiest places to have a reunion (IMHO) because there's just so much there to do/talk about that I don't think there could be a possibility of awkwardness. I'm sure it will be fantastic! :thumbsup2

 Yeah those cloning machines can be pretty darned expensive.

You're very welcome. I'm glad I could help. ;)

Oh bummer on the Crocks that you bought in store that don't fit. :sad2:I hope they have your size when you go to exchange. And I hope you can score the ones you want online.

:laughing:Well, I don't know how well that rule works in scrabble but I use that rule pretty regularly on the DIS.

Yay for made up words! I happen to love made up words. I have a couple of my own that I'll share with you!

Froke - past tense of "freak" Ex: That spider crawled up my shoulder and I froke out!

Squoze - past tense of "squeeze" Ex: I didn't think I could fit past his chair without him moving it, but I squoze and got through.

I honestly don't know what I said before those words. They are now a regular part of my vocabulary.

 those words are too funny. I love made up words. I have one that I use on a regular basis when something smells really bad but it's not DIS friendly so I'll have to keep it to myself. Plus you people don't know me so you'd probably think I'm totally weird
