The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

I'm sure that one would quickly get the attention of the Disney clean-up crew!
Don't want to upset the kiddos.......

"Clean up in aisle 5!"

Wow, thanks for the great advice! :thumbsup2

No problem, that's what I'm here for. (Messin' with Marv.)

Go back to my post, and carefully read Dan's post I was responding to. I think you will get it...... He was responding to our discourse about conversation and conversion......;)

Oh, okay. Got it.

Pearls of wisdom I have never seemed to grasp..... :confused3

One of these days, maybe.

Behind again.:confused3

I have to go back to your WCC update. I love that you got called out for taking food pictures.:rotfl: We enjoyed the antics when we went there in 2009 and yes we did get a table full of ketchup. I didn't get the milkshake for the same reason you stated, I was saving room for the food. This was one of our favorite fun meals of that trip.

Yeah, I think next time I'll skip the shakes even though they're wonderful.

What a cool treat to meet Ranger Joe. I remember him from MEK's trip report. Not fair that you didn't share the hidden Mickeys.

I didn't share them because I didn't think to take pictures of them! Dumb, I know.

Your room looks fabulous and your view even better. A nice resort night was just what was needed. I have to agree with others, waking up to dirty dishes stinks.

We love Kidani!

Hey, who knew she was going to wake up before we got back from the pool. For all I knew, she was out for the count!

I love the panoramic photo of you view!:cloud9: And your morning at AK so far aside from the call sounds great. Thanks for all the pictures of the EE line. I've only been through it once stand by and I was so busy looking we didn't take pictures.

Thanks! Doesn't matter where you go in AK, there's a beautiful or neat photo opportunity. It's so picturesque.

Why do I always seem to be behind everytime I check here? My timing is just so off (I think.)

I think it's awesome that James had such a good time at Community Hall. I know my brother at that age would've still been too scared to go off on his own and play with strangers.

I LOOOOVE EE. I rode on it 3 times in a row! Getting there early in the morning is just the best. The standby line takes a while to get long and the single-rider always moves so fast!

I like the pose you did for the redneck photo. I took a LOT of those on my trip. It took us a while to figure out when the picture would actually be taken for EE so we knew when to pose.

I've been a lurker for quite a while - I've read a LOT of TRs and got some fantastic ideas for our trip last month for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend. And I've oohed and aahed over some amazing photography!

Anyway, just wanted to jump in and share one of my pics from the queue of EE - one that I've not seen posted. Anyone notice a problem with it???

Hmm, can't post pics til at least post 10 and this is number 9. Hold on...I'll be right back!

Is it just me or did someone miss something in the proofing department???

Do you think the animals are more active early? I know some people think so, but I'm skeptical.

I think the animals are more active when it is cool.
By the time we get there in the morning I have a feeling that the animals have been out for a while in the savanna. I have had great pictures in the Am and again in the PM. Late in the day they gather to be let backstage for the night and are sometimes out of sight. The only thing for certain is that it is different every time. That is what keeps me going back.:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

It's like I tell Tribilin...you need to check in here at least every day. ;)

I think it's awesome that James had such a good time at Community Hall. I know my brother at that age would've still been too scared to go off on his own and play with strangers.

I probably would have been more like your brother, but James just goes and says, "hey, would you like to play foosball?".

I LOOOOVE EE. I rode on it 3 times in a row! Getting there early in the morning is just the best. The standby line takes a while to get long and the single-rider always moves so fast!

Yes, if you go first-thing you can easily get a fastpass and ride standby without too much wait.

I like the pose you did for the redneck photo. I took a LOT of those on my trip. It took us a while to figure out when the picture would actually be taken for EE so we knew when to pose.

I didn't remember making that pose, so I guess the trip is starting to go from recent past to distant past!

I've been a lurker for quite a while - I've read a LOT of TRs and got some fantastic ideas for our trip last month for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend. And I've oohed and aahed over some amazing photography!

:welcome: 1moremile! Thanks for coming out of lurkerdom. It's good to have you on board. Reading trip reports will definitely give you some ideas for a trip to Disney. ::yes::

Thanks for jumping in and sharing a picture. Oh, okay...holdng on.

Ha! Spellcheck couldn't catch that one.

You could be right...I just don't think I've really noticed much of a difference no matter what time I've gone on the safari. I don't think I've gone late in the day, so have probably missed the time when they're looking to go backstage.

Hey when did Dan start working for disney??? :rotfl2::rotfl2::confused3

Aghh, you stole my line!

Good evening !!!

Glen I can't believe you have never heard "Christmas is a coming ":rotfl2:Must be more English than I realised !!!:confused3 I have to agree the schmarmy upto Judy would indicate an upcoming Birthday !!!:rotfl2:

It sounds like Liesa has heard of it, so it might just be my own personal ignorance.

No, no birthday's coming up. You guys are so suspicious.

Marv I didn't say I'd sit on a CHICKEN , just use his/her exit !!!!:rotfl2:

Ew, that doesn't sound good either. In fact, it sounds worse!

Seeing as every animal, bird I mention is misconstrued by Marv!!!:rotfl2:

Go for it Marv!!!!:rotfl2:

:rotfl2:

Kind of the opposite of the Chick Fil-A commercials.

My DS is the same way. I think James is just looking for his next "mark".

Yes, if you go first-thing you can easily get a fastpass and ride standby without too much wait.
Like the safari, the last 30 minutes of the day is pretty good too. I have gotten the most rides in during the last 30-45 minutes of the day.:thumbsup2

Sometimes they are out of site but I have caught the Male Lion up and pacing late in the afternoon. I think I have seen someone catch the elephants up on the bridge at the end of the day.

Aghh, you stole my line!
I was waiting for the picture too, so when I saw it I could not resist.:lmao:

It sounds like Liesa has heard of it, so it might just be my own personal ignorance.

I have heard (herd:laughing:) that song before but it was from my best friend and her family growing up, once. That was also the only time I have heard that song before now.
Either we don't hang with people who know the song on a regular basis or we have been missig out all this time. :confused3

Wow! You're photos of the animals at your resort are incredible! I looked through them twice. Nice series of the giraffe. The zebra walking along the track was cool. My favorite is the "enhanced" photo of the ankole(?) cattle showing their "thoughts". Just hilarious!

I think I overheard him saying, "What is this game? How do you play?" :rotfl2:

I'll have to remember that about EE....good just before closing. Got it!

It was the natural thought to come to mind.

Way to work "herd" in there! One Christmas carol I'm familiar with is "Angels we have herd on high".

im guessing something is spelled wrong here? and im going to guess their is what your looking at?

I hope you're joking. Trouble is, I'm not sure.

Wow, thanks for the compliments! You were so persuasive, I had to go back and look at them again, myself.

I DO!:thumbsup2 But I'm getting concerned my hearing is going......every time someone says it, it sounds just like my own voice......:confused3

Well, don't worry...it's not you saying it. If you were saying it, it'd sound like Statler and/or Waldorf.
