The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet the movie quoting guru himself, Captain Oblivious. In following each others' threads, we realized that we must not live all that far from one another so he traveled north and I traveled south and we met up at our local Cheesecake Factory for some grub. It was great to meet the guy who gave me the shiny new title in my signature.

We had to keep one eye on the snow conditions outside since the storm that came up the East Coast had started in the early evening. And before we left we each had to order a couple of slices of cheesecake to go, for family back home. I belive the Captain was planning on doing that already, but my fate was sealed when I received a text from Marlene that read, "unless u bring us back a cheese cake dont talk to me (marlene) dont EVEN try!"

As we were leaving I mentioned that I brought my camera along, but there wasn't really an opportunity to get a photo to document the historic moment. He said, "Well the DIS Dads say that if there's no photo, it didn't happen."

Hmmm. He had a point there.

So we asked the hostess to try her hand at photography, while we looked for a picturesque area for the photo. Ah, yeah....we did about as well at our task as she did at focusing, but at least we did get something of a picture.

Oh my gosh the 2 shirts thing is hilarious!!! :rotfl2: How similar can you get without it actually being the same exact shirt?? Apparently it's not as hard as we think it is!

Hey, Glen! I just had to pop in to say that I'm actually caught up (just the posts...no way I can find time to enjoy the banter) and am still enjoying! I didn't allow myself to check my subscribed threads at all last semester...the class I was taking was a killer! I have another one just starting up, but I hope to at least log on the boards every once in a while...I actually had to log back in the other day! :sad2: Love the Nemo pics, and the Boma report. I'm going to get over there one of these days...

Very impressed with the creative streetmosphere decor using PC products. Loved the walking tour, I will stay there someday, it's too gorgeous not to.

I almost always get the Oreo cheesecake. Because it's awesome. I brought home the pineapple upside-down cheesecake for my wife. Her first love is the Peppermint Bark cheesecake, but that's only available at Christmas time.
