The Merry Christmas Sheldon Hypothesis! May & Nov 13 PTR..Updated 4/13

Ok so I'm watching BBT and the girls are going to BBB at Disneyland!! They must have got the idea from my PTR Ahhhh I love Disney and Big Bang so perfect they are joined tonight!

I can't believe how much of a slacker I have been lately After we lost Maverick we had a home study the very next week ugh! But the good news is we passed! Now we only have one more inspection and a couple of small things and we will be licensed parents

On the planning front we really considered cancelling our November trip but don't worry my addiction to oversized adorable characters took over and I reconsidered

As of right now my countdown looks like this...

I so stinking excited and I need this trip BADLY!

So since the view from my front door looks like this...

I decided it was time to break out the Disney Tote!

Inside it we have all our Disney shirts

The things to make window decorations & some glow bracelets that I bought on clearance

There are also our mugs (yes I am getting new ones but I also like to have an extra so I can have coffee and something else in the mornings), Brians pins I got him for Christmas, the portable dvd player (important since we drive 16+ hours straight through) and other misc. things....

I also finally got around to putting my last transfer onto a shirt

I busted out the summer clothes yesterday and starting organizng and making a packing list!

This morning I did online check in and requested 60's close to transportation. We will be arriving very early Saturday the 11th so if we can get a room anywhere I will take it. I hope these next 46 days fly by cause I can't wait for warm weather.

Holy Cow I can't believe I only have 3 more Saturdays until I am in my happy place!!!!! Life has been crazy busy around here....

#1 We got our foster license!!!! We had been told it would take 4-6 months depending on how hard we worked and got the stuff done....We did it in 9 WEEKS!

#2 Getting our license and being told we can have kids as soon as we are ready really changed our thoughts on Disney in November. As much as I really want to go I know that I can take that money and save it toward a massive trip in 2014 WITH KIDS! The more we thought the more we felt that giving up having one more adults only trip was worth it to have kids sooner and lets face it being able to go to Disney World is something most of our kids would never have the chance to do otherwise

#3 All of this crazyness has put me way behind on planning but I now have all our park days planned:
Day 1: arrival/MK
Day 2: Epcot/ EMH @ MK
Day 3: AK/ EMH @ HS
Day 4: Morning @ HS/ Evening @ MK
Day 5: EMH @ HS/ Late Morning/Early Afternoon @ AK/ Evening @ MK
Day 6: Full Day at MK unless we want to stop at another park for a few

#4 Since Day 2 is my first "Mother's Day" (hey I worked hard for that "license to parent" lol!) I asked my DH if we could do something special just for me And I decided on......



Pick a Pearl in Japan I figure its something I can get this year and then next year if we have any little princess we can get them one too

I am finding it strange how we haven't even went on the 2013 trip yet and I am already planning 2014 But when you have waited forever for kids and your finally getting them things like this happen

We have also decided to only keep our ADR @ Yak & Yeti on 5/13. We just kept thinking how it just makes no sense to us to set down for long meals when we are happy grabbing something small while running between rides. Now next year we will need the DDP because we will probably have a character meal every day

Still on my to do list is:
*getting my hair highlighted (I have like 6 inches of dark roots )
*getting the oil changed on the car (2000+ miles round trip she needs a little love beforehand)
*Finish my packing list
*Start packing, I just had a 31 party so much of the bags I will be using won't arrive until just before time but I can still stack everything on the bed in our girls room
*Start a shopping list...We are going to be decorating the Girls/Boys rooms this summer and I want to pick up a few special items to use in them
*Just plain relax, this past year has been such a roller coaster ride between cancelling the 2012 trip, the foster stuff, death and sickness in our friends & family, losing our fur baby and everything else we are really looking at this trip as our celebration of surviving and starting over. We have adopted the Tenth Avenue North song Worn as our theme here lately (never heard it here's the youtube http://youtu.be/zulKcYItKIA) and we need this trip to start rebuilding and moving on from all the heartbreak in our past. I'm healthy! Brians healthy! We will be parents very soon!
